I absolutely love the zoo. Have been coming here since the 80s as a kid. When Willie B was the main attraction and you could watch peacocks roam freely around the cafe. That being said, the zoo knows they have a captive audience with this place and the staff working there just don't care. They make their hours and do the bare minimum. $48 for a burger meal with a beer and a side of queso fries is insane. I reviewed the prices after the fact and realized our meal should have cost around $31-$35 (still robbery) so we were either charged for someone else's food or they just took advantage and added some extra items on my unsuspecting husband's tab. They, probably intentionally, don't give you a receipt so I didn't notice the charge until the next day when I saw it on our account. Read the reviews and enjoy all the zoo has to offer, then LEAVE to get food somewhere else.

Price of food overpriced like most zoos. But the fact that we spent $98 on a family of 5 and the 2 chicken strip baskets me and my husband got was the most expensive and we could even eat it is ridiculous. The chicken wasnt cooked all the way through and slimy on the inside not a grain of slat season or anything on the chicken fries tasted old oh and not to mention we waited 20 mins for uncooked chicken strips the fries were cold 2 small pizzas one was burnt and an uncruatable and goldfish. The drink prices were crazy BTW. Pizza and sandwich was the only thing worth eating there.

June 15, 2025. Family of 4, and we split 2 small pizzas just so we could have some food. Food here is overpriced, just like every zoo or aquarium you go to. We each had 2 small pieces of pizza each, which was enough food to get us through the day.

The food is overpriced school cafeteria food. The wait times are insane. Poorly managed and staffed. Why have mobile ordering of you are going to ignore these orders. In no way adds to the experience of the zoo. In fact completely detracts from a visit to the zoo. 0/10 do not recommend. They have added food trucks the cafe is so jacked up.

Had to wait 25 minutes for just a side of fries... I understand things get busy, but it seems like common sense to quickly put out small orders that don't require much. And at $6.00, it was disappointing to have received such a small portion. It could have at least been filled to where the flaps of the box folds in.

Terrible food, service was rude, we waited over am hour for a pizza and sandwich. And we didn't even got them . They refunded us without an explanation or servicing us. UNACCEPTABLE . Do better Atlanta zoo

I had a classic burger and fries and it was pretty good, better than fast food. The cashier and the kitchen staff were both very friendly. The entire meal was around $20. I ate at 11:00 am before the big crowds arrived and got my food in under 3 minutes. Good experience overall.
