Nova II Sushi Bar & Asian Bistro

I have been to this location for both dine in and takeout and have never been disappointed. Everything has always been excellent!

I’ll start by saying the food at Nova is really good. I honestly can’t deny that. I would give the food itself 5 stars.

But the customer service, I would give it 0 stars. The ladies that work there are not friendly. They never greet you with a hello and a smile, it’s just do you know what you want.

I go there frequently because the food is good, but today was the last time. Went there for lunch as usual and ordered an item from the lunch menu. Sat down while my item was being prepared. Once my item was ready, the lady that work there just placed my order on the counter and said your order. She didn’t bring it to me and place it in my hand and once I got up to walk over to get it, she didn’t even say anything. She just put it down on the counter and walked away. That’s horrible customer service. But it’s totally my fault because I chose to go there. But never again. Also, just a fyi…I always tip.

I highly do not recommend this place. We ordered several different rolls, and almost all of them were simply not good. The only one that was okay was the California Roll — probably because it didn’t contain fish or cream cheese. The rest had an unpleasant taste and were honestly hard to finish.

The prices are far too high for the quality we received. We don’t mind paying more for good food, but this was definitely not worth it.

Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

Really great and tasty food and great service! Cannot go wrong with the thai fried rice or the lo mein. Do not skip out on the plum wine. Such a nice and pleasant experience!

The sushi is amazing and the service is fantastic. If you order enough rolls you can get a sushi boar and the presentation is incredible. I highly recommend the lunch special.

My husband and I discovered this place before we move to Atlanta from New York and we have been regular customers sense. The sushi is amazing. I really haven't had the food, but the drinks are really really good if you're ever in the neighborhood make sure to stop by and ask for Tong or Dong and tell them Pamelia sent you

I used to enjoy this place until today. I was wrongly accused of not paying for my food and held in the establishment past my lunch hour until they discovered their computer system was faulty and running slow. There was no apology or nothing. I will not be returning.

When having an encounter with the female cashier about an order that I was receiving, I simply asked for her to place the order on the counter in front of me. Instead of complying, she chose to negatively profile me and escalate the issue beyond measure. For someone that is a repeated customer, I am appalled that this occurred and refuse 2 c myself dining where my money is not appreciated as well as where I’m not respected as a African American male.
