My favorite Mexican restaurant, anywhere; bar none!!Food has been consistently excellent for more than 20 years I have been eating here. The Enchiladas are excellent; Shrimp quesadillas fantastic; and Mole sauce awesome. My personal favorite, however, and staple for many years is the Chicken Diablo (tacos). Of course, every visit starts with a large bowl of Queso dip with jalapeños! It is the best cheese dip.Over the course of at least 150 meals at Nuevo Laredo Cantina, the worst thing I can say about this place is that I preferred the way the Chicken Diablo tacos used to be presented. They used to build the tacos on the plate, side by side before presenting to the table. This allowed the tortillas to absorb some of the sauce the longer the taco sat on the plate. Although this almost certainly meant you had to eat the tacos with a knife and fork, I feel it enhances the flavor. The last couple times, the chicken has come on the plate with tortillas served on the side, like you see in many restaurants. I feel this separates the flavors too much. Other than that small detail, you need to discover this place for yourself!!TIP: Get there early!! It gets/stays busy!Parking: The lot on the restaurant property is very tight. They have more than adequate parking across the street. Just be careful crossing Chattahoochee Ave!

For the reviews I’ve seen I think this place just ok. Not great but not bad. I don’t think I’d go out of my way to eat here. Parking I weird, food was mid but the service was good. They didn’t get my order right but I didn’t complain. Kinda pricey for tacos.

Nuevo Laredo is one of my favorite Mexican food places anywhere. The queso flameado is a must have (make sure you get extra tortillas as it only comes with 3) and while I can't get enough of their regular menu (enchiladas, tacos and the like) everything I've had here is good. Most places dial in the refried beans and rice but I look forward to having them at Nuevo Laredo just because they do such a good job with them.Update: their burger is also top 5 in Atlanta. Heard it from a radio personality and thought it sounded crazy but he's right. Not for veggie lovers but wow it's good.
This has and always will be the best Mexican restaurant in the country.Staff is friendly and attentive, food is 5/5, salsa is amazing, and their drinks will always make your day.

I only went to this location because it had such high ratings. Well that certainly wasn’t my experience! I found the food to be highly overrated, the service was fine. My table wasn’t the best regarding its location but my rejection of this place is strictly due to the food quality and presentation. I will not be going back!

The best Mexican food I've ever had! My fiance and I used to come everytime we were in ATL. When we planned a mini weekend trip to ATL we knew he had to go back! It was just as good as we remembered it. Would gladly travel 3 hours to eat here.
