My husband took me here for our 14th Anniversary, and the staff made our experience so memorable from the moment we stepped in the door. We chose to sit in their more casual rooftop section since it was a beautiful evening and the (west midtown) view is very nice. Every single staff who interacted with us made sure to acknowledge our occasion throughout the evening and make it special for us... from host to food runner to servers. Since it was our first time there, we asked our server to make recommendations, and we ordered everything she suggested (*listed at the end). She did not lead us wrong! Every dish was prepared with care, precision, and it was ALL so over the top delicious! They even gave us 2 or 3 dishes that we didn't order, which was a really nice and unexpected surprise. Even though we ordered dessert, they also brought out a complimentary dessert addition, that I thought was even better than what we ordered. Vanilla Ice cream on top of a Mochi brownie... simple but incredible! Thank you, O-Ku, for making our first dinner experience with you so memorable and delicious. We will be back again, as soon as my next sushi craving hits (and we can secure a babysitter)! *Crispy Rice, Lobster Dumplings, Hamachi Carpaccio, Otoro Spoons, Marbled Forest, Sake To Me Baby
Service was very slow even though it wasn't crowded. It took forever to get drinks and had to ask about it. Sushi wasn't worth the prices
Came here with my best friend from out of town and we had a good time. The food was good, but the dessert was better. We had the miso soup (great), follow the yellow brick roll (great), hamachi carpaccio (10/10), special salmon temaki (bomb), the marbled forest was recommended as better than the over the rainbow roll but I honestly wish we got the roll instead so (mid), ube brownie (love love love). Drink wise we had the forbidden fruit (great),the saint Miyako (great), we also got the cosmopolitan (meh) and french 75 (meh).
The service and wait staff were lovely. However, if you've been to their Florida location... Atlanta is 100% different. I wish I can say we enjoyed our meals, but we didn't. From the smell of grilled food and cleaning supplies, it was too much for us to bear. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
This is our favorite restaurant. The mgmt and wait staff are the friendliest, and most helpful, attentive staff of any restaurant I have been to. They never miss a beat and treat us like royalty. The food is always excellent and prepared and displayed beautifully. Jasmine, Christy and Joe know how to operate a restaurant and we cannot praise them enough.
We had a fantastic experience celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary! The service was impeccable, both in terms of promptness and great suggestions based on our preferences. They were very attentive and friendly as well. The managers checked in periodically and really made us feel special. The quality of the food is outstanding. We enjoy our experience there each and every time.
We had a wonderful evening at our favorite sushi restaurant in Atlanta. We eat dinner on the upper deck patio on a beautiful fall southern evening. The cocktails were very creative and all of the dishes were superb! Thank you to everyone at O-Ku-Atlanta!
What a wonderful dining experience we had at O-Ku! Allena was our sever and she took excellent care of us by masterfully explaining the menu and suggesting menu items to try. We started off with cocktails and some Sashimi. Then we tried several sushi rolls and finished with two amazing desserts. The Yuzu Peach Eclair and the Banana Cream Cake! Delicious! We can't wait to return! Thank you to the staff for making our night out so very special!
food took 40+ minutes, waiter did not check in on us at all, he came to ask if we needed anything else (i'm assuming he thought we finished eating) but we were still waiting on our appetizer and our servers changed with no communication, overall terrible first experience
I've been to O-Ku before but this is my first time writing a review. I went to O-Ku for my 6th Anniversary with my girlfriend, it was very quiet compared to the Friday I previously went but the ambiance was still the same. My server was very attentive with great recommendations and the food was just awesome. If you come here and you want to get your fill, expect to spend a lot. However, this is such a good spot for any occasion or even a small bite with some drinks. Nothing to complain about, great experience!

We have been to O-Ku in Nashville but this was our first time to be Atlanta location. The food was not at the level we are used to from O-Ku in taste or presentation. Overall there was a lack of finesse at this location that did not match the level of dining experience we have come to expect from O-Ku
I truly enjoyed my cocktail, the Shogun. I usually come for the specialty rolls and it was delicious I enjoyed the Westside and Tuna Crunch.
The food is beyond good. The freshest sushi, the best service, beautiful views from the roof deck! It's the best special occasion dining around.
The service and atmosphere were perfect. The food was disappointing. The fish is high quality but their treatment of it is poor. Very sauce heavy. Very cheap teriyaki sauce flavor. Would not go back
Lunch visit. Love the food, service is very responsive and close parking is a big plus for the area.
