Make sure you ask the price before you go in. They charged 25 dollars for dry chicken. They also tried to serve me microwaved snapper that he said he made it earlier in the day. How are you going to serve me old fish? They also had the audacity to say they will serve the fish they decide. When I came in they shared that we could have tilapia or snapper. I do not recommend.

Expect to pay several dollars more than what they claim, not including tax and tips. Do not order from their online app--it doesn't process your payment, which you can't even do with a credit card! I'd love to come back for their wonderful food, but service like that is not worth it.

If I could give this restaurant a lower review, I would. And this is coming from someone, who a fews years ago, loved their food. Dismissing the fact that they didn't have heating in the middle of winter, their restroom was nastier than a gas station out house. I just wish I had seen the restrooms before ordering but I digress. The restaurant opens at 3pm, we got there at 3pm, and somehow our orders came out colder than room temperature. It really was a disappointing experience. Especially as someone who loves patronizing African restaurants.

Staff was very friendly. This was our first time and we were hungry. All the food was on point we had jollof rice with goat and fish and ginger drink. We will come back again and will pass the good word around.

My husband and I randomly found this place and we didn't regret it. This food was pricey but good j*** chicken and jollof rice. Seasoned well.

Food was just ok, definitely not the best Senegalese food I have had. I had the fish and rice and the fish wasn't fresh, the onion sauce was a little overpowering

Ordered Maffe, Neme rolls, Yassa, and Thiebou Yap with hopes of a nostalgic meal that would take me back to my time living in Dakar. The Maffe was yummy. The Neme rolls were good. The Yassa and Thiebou Yap....hardly any resemblance to what I expected and absolutely not worth the price. I'm not sure what happened--did they mess up the order? Forget to give me a container of sauce or vegetables? Simply take a tremendous shortcut? I didn't realize what happened until I sat down to eat at home. (I did pick-up and didn't feel comfortable opening all my food to verify my order in a restaurant during a pandemic, especially when the employee assisting me wasn't wearing a mask.) Either way, even if it was just in error there were nevertheless 2 of 4 dishes incorrect/dissatisfying which makes me hesitant to return.

Absolutely delicious Senegalese food. Had the just-right heat in the lamb, peanut-infused cassava leaf medley, and flavorful okra stew. Best of all - the spice-fried Djollof rice paired perfectly with every dish. Friendly service, great for takeout or dine in when available.

Food was horrible. I will not be back.

EVERYTHING WAS SUPER SALTY AND WAY OVERPRICED. We ordered 2 Meals, me and my Senegalese date. My Date blamed me because I suggested the Place A friend of mine lives close and she said she goes there periodically but he was expensive she warned but I decided to try it. I took pictures of her food and tried her son's dibi and it had a strong games flavor which to me means it wasn't cleaned properly. Yet I still went and tried it bc she said the Thiebou Yapp was good. The Owner served us and said the Food was the Best In The World so I was like Yesssssssssss. I went to the bathroom to use it and it was dirty and the toilet was broke. I should have left then . Thiebou Yapp and Maafe. Our total was $46 and we couldn't even eat it. It was inedible bc of the salt level. We told the Owner that we couldn't eat the food bc it was too salty and his response was "oh". He CLEARLY DIDNT GIVE A FLYING FU**. We paid and left

Food was good but I felt like the food was over priced

Sadly disappointed...I was sick of fast food and wanted to try a new place in the neighborhood. The food was SUPER overpriced for what I received. The beef pattie (Fataya?) was almost $7 and it was all crust...there was maybe 2 tablespoons of delicious meat filling but was not worth the price. I decided to get the lamb Dibbit dish and this was the most disappointing. I could tell everything I received had been sitting around and was microwaved to warm it back up. My lamb had a good taste, but the meat was horribly dry and not tender at all. The rice had a good taste, but easily had a can of VegAlls mixed in for the vegetables.I'm not sure if I caught this place on a bad day, but if my order was the norm, I'm not sure who were the customers who gave them any more than 1 star.
