This is a good ramen place to go with omnivore friends. They have two vegan ramen options and a few vegan appetizers. Everything is clearly labeled. There seemed to be plenty of parking in the garage. #Veganuary

This is the best Ramen in Atlanta. Everything is made in house, and the noodles are fresh daily.

Parking: There is a free parking deck a block away from the restaurant.

5s across the board, this place is a gem! I had the Ebi Karaage as an appetizer and the Spicy Paitan Tsukemen (pork) as my entrée and both were just exceptionally good! I paired it with the lychee cocktail and the flavors all balance each other out. I am still in the restaurant and couldn't wait to write a review! I will be back again!

Okiboru is one of my favorite ramen places around Atlanta. Don't sleep on the appetizers! I absolutely love the chashu buns. For a while I did stay in my comfort zone and stick with tonkotsu ramen, which Okiboru does very well. Eventually I ventured out to tsukemen (dipping style ramen) as well, which is Okiboru's specialty. I was not disappointed, the dipping broth was flavorful, the ramen egg and chashu perfectly cooked. There's even a funny handy guide on the wall for how to eat your ramen. Okiboru does offer more noodles for a small charge, but I often find the bowls to be more than filling if I ordered one appetizer.

I sometimes get takeout from Okiboru, especially during COVID, and they offer to give you the ramen noodles uncooked so that you could have fresher noodles once you get home. Highly recommended if you have the patience to boil your noodles.

Parking: There's a parking garage behind the restaurant

When we were visiting Atlanta we knew we wanted to try a ramen place. Okiboru kept coming up while searching and a friend of ours also recommended them. We arrived right at opening and were some of the first inside. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of some of the restaurants I had eaten at in Japan. Japan holds a special place in my heart so it was nice to be transported back there. The servers were very attentive and the food came out very quickly. We ordered the Ebi Karaage and Fried Gyoza for our starters. We absolutely loved the Ebi Karaage. The presentation of them looking like lollipops was unexpected. The flavors were so good and they had just the right amount of breading. The sauce the lollipops were sitting on added that extra umph to the dish. This dish also comes with some pickles on the plate and let me tell you those were some amazing pickles! Get this for sure! For the ramen we tried the Tonkatsu and Tori Paitan. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broths were so creamy. I feel like I can rarely find a good creamy chicken broth so when I do I’m definitely in my happy place. The chicken Karaage in the ramen had a lot of flavor too. The Tori Paitan at Okiboru has become my favorite. I wish there was a location in my home state. I’d be there often!

Food is really good but the person who gave us the service was something I would never expect in an restaurant. First, he didn’t clean the table and we had to clean it ourselves. Second, he would talk to us rudely. Third, after we didn’t give him tip for his rude service. He called us on our personal number and demanded tip. I wish I had his photo to post here. I have recommended dozens of people here before but I regret recommending them now.
