Came to Okiboru after craving some ramen and saw how good the reviews were. I was definitely not disappointed!Service was great, immediately got seated and received waters. Waiter attended to us at a good pace making sure everything was alright. I did arrive a little bit after they opened so it was a tad empty, but I have a feeling service is always as efficient as it was if packed!Food was amazing, I ordered two small plates, Ebi Karaage and Chicken Okiboru Buns, as well as the Tonkotsu ramen. Some of the best i’ve ever tasted, and it all came out flavorful and fresh.Recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and tasty bowl of ramen!

We eat lunch here every time we're in the Atlanta area. The food is so addicting and the service is so friendly and fast. The spicy tonkotsu ramen is the best ramen on the menu -- bursting with flavor and so comforting for the stomach and soul!

Unbelievable. Best ramen I’ve ever had. The Truffle ramen is one of the most delicious broths I’ve ever experienced in my mouth. Proper stuff.

My husband and I are frequent patrons here and have never had anything close to a bad experience. Servers are extremely attentive, ensuring that your water is always filled, you always have napkins, and ensure that you have everything you need to enjoy the amazing meal that’s coming your way.We originally stumbled across this restaurant because the other ramen spot we went to visit was closed. I don’t even have the words to explain how amazing the ramen is and we both agree this is top 3 meals of our lifetime. I can see why this is the only Michelin rated ramen in Atlanta, because holy s#!%, it is GOOD. God blessed us by letting us live so close to this establishment.I strongly recommend the Tori Chintan as it’s only available at this location and the Lychee Martini….chefs kiss. My husband loves the spicy pork ramen, so I’ll take his word on that one lol. We’ve been here over 20 times and would give 5 stars for every time.

My favorite ramen in all of the USA.There's always a wait time (albeit pretty quick!) and that means it's great!Ramen is 5/5. Highly recommend the fries!

How this place got on the Michelin’s 2019 California Bib Gourmand list is beyond me. Appetizer are mediocre at best, the famous truffle fries are badly fried, the edamame way to sweet. OK the broth was good, the waitresses never brought us one of the appetizers, when asking where it was, she said "oh let me order it for you now", no applogies or acknowledgement she missed it. Skip this place there is better in the ATL

The reviews and the Michelin star rating are why I decided to come give it a try. Parking is in the back in a garage, and it's free! When walking in, the place was smaller than I was expecting. With the limited seating available, I knew I would quickly receive my meal and leave relatively quickly. Everything about this place is virtual, from scanning to your name to the list to the menu. There was a qr code for nearly everything, but if you wanted a physical menu, they would oblige. I ordered quite a few things to try since it took over 1 hour to get here! I ordered the shoyu brussels, chashu wrap, spicy pickled cabbage, spicy tonkotsu with garlic, and some sake. When I first scanned my name, a gentleman came a short while later and then said I could choose where I sat since there was more than 1 table available. Once I sat, I had to leave my phone out to scan the qr code and view the menu. A lady came and asked me if I was ready to order, which I wasn't then asked if it was my first time. I said yes first time then said she would give me time to review the menu. When a different lady came to take my order, I told her what I wanted, and then I waiter for the food. The first item to come out was the chashu wrap. I thought it was good, but it was a bit messy because of the liquid escaping the tiny wraps. A tasty bite leading up to the ramen. The next item I received was the brussels. I had a few bites, and it was crispy, but as it was still hot, I could get the full flavor. I ended up eating this later and got the robust flavor of the sauce along with the crunch of the brussel sprouts. Shortly after receiving the brussel sprouts, the ramen and spicy pickled cabbage came. I took a few bites of the cabbage and ate the rest later. That flavor plus the crispness of the cabbage was out of this world! What blew my mind was when you first eat it, it's not spicy but you feel the heat but the more you ate, the spicier it got and when I did finish it my tongue was on fire. Excellent dish, and I would definitely drive over 1 hour just for that! When I first tried the ramen broth, it was good but then the more I ate it along with the few items in the bowl, I felt it was missing something to cut the creaminess and fat of that broth. With the added garlic, it definitely enhanced that flavor, but I feel that without that garlic present, I may not have enjoyed that broth as much. The noodles were some of the best I've had, and when eaten together with everything in the bowl, made for a delectable bite. All around, a good meal. I liked that I was in and out, and I could tell it was done efficiently. If I were with more people, I would have preferred more time between receiving dishes and not all at once. My suggestion to the staff is if someone is new, you can always say if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask or even mention your favorites. I noticed with a table next to me, a waiter did this. Service should be consistent across the board with all patrons without a doubt.

As a regular customer, I'm genuinely disappointed by the inconsistency in the tofu and broth quality. Despite voicing my concerns to the staff, I encountered a discourteous response. Despite this, I returned (multiple times) only to face the same issues again. The servers even questioned my tipping habits( I don’t tip every time I come but I do tip the people im comfortable with) , creating an uncomfortable atmosphere due to their gossiping behavior . On one occasion, a male server insinuated that I'm always complaining (wasn’t even my server). I simply wish for consistency in the food I enjoy here, and I'm not seeking a refund, just a better-prepared meal.

I decided to have dinner at Okiboru in Sandy Springs, GA at the recommendation of a friend who said this was his favorite ramen restaurant. My partner and I were definitely not disappointed. We went on a Friday evening for dinner and was surprised the place was not too crowded yet when we arrived around 5:30pm. We were seated immeadiately and chose the bar. Service was fast and we got our appetizer, which was the Okiboru Pork Buns. I was very surprised at how different this style of pork buns were. It wasn't an enclosed bun, but the meat was folded, which was very unique. The Pork bun was sweet, yet savory. As for my entree, I ordered the Tori Chintan which had fried Chicken Karaage, a half soft-boiled egg, and other toppings. The price was very affordable at $13.50, tasted great, and had enough that I was full once finished. Okiboru has a "homebody" feel that is very different than larger franchised-owned ramen restaurants. I'd definitely want to eat here again in the future!Parking: You'll either drive around until a free parking spot opens up in the parking garage behind the building Okiboru is in, or you'll have to use the Valet service which only accepts Cash or PayPal/Venmo. Make sure to have the app setup beforehand with a credit card if you don't want to use a linked bank/checking account. Could be very inconvenient if you're not prepared.
