old town crab (Midtown)

I don't usually leave ratings but I'd like to help this place raise theirs. The food was FLAVORFUL and robust. I ordered shrimp, crawfish & sausage w/egg, potatoes and corn through uber eats. Food was cooked perfectly, arrived hot, well packaged and included proper utensils.

There was just enough sauce to cover about half the food in the bag, it wasn't watery or oily. The consistency of the sauce is Comparable to Gumbo. Super tasty!!

If i could give this place a 0 i would the seafood is overcooked, overpiced and has no flavor I’ve never experienced a seafood boil with no flavor before and the number on google to call them dosent even work PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE I WASTED 70 dollars and there is no number for customer service to even tell anyone

Food was old. Ordered pound shrimp head on I received a mix of head off and head on and they were extremely old! The corn was old, the potatoes tasted as wood the egg was brown, long story short this was some old seafood that had been sitting in the boil all day! Mind you I did order late because I work at the hospital but that doesn’t give you a reason to send old food if you open late you should be serving fresh food especially seafood ! This was my first time trying this place I’m usually a juicy crab girl! First and last sorry juicy crab!!

photos don’t do it justice but this was the seafood boil i’ve been craving. it was so gooooood. the crab legs were perfect. shrimp was nice sized and not overcooked. everything was great. and my food was piping hot when i got it delivered.

The crabs are small & there’s no meat in them. Don’t waste your time.

This is a Virtual Restaurant that has multiple restaurants in one, you get your food from a locker after putting your order number in a tablet on the wall. Stays open late, 3 or 4

I was highly disappointed with the food I had received. The Fried Shrimp Basket (8 pcs) was hard af and the fries were burnt to a torch. Normally the food is fresh and hot,but tonight was not the night. 0 out of 10 would not recommend.

Long story short. Noticed I was gonna trash it when the plates top was oily…

Calamari—-saturated in oil, caused it to be limp…overly seasoned. Cant take it. It’s only 15 pieces, doesn’t need that much sodium, less than a tsp would suffice.. but I’m assuming it was made in a batch …

Sweet fries: OILY, the sweet flavor was there. It had potential But that saturated oil—killed it.

Pro: Ordered through Door Dash online and the process was easy and the food was delivered on time. All parts of our 3 meals were fulfilled and packaged in either a brown bag or plastic bag.Cons: The quality of the food, however, left much to be desired. The fried fish was over cooked (almost burnt), the shrimp was over cooked and tough, the rice was over cooked and coat-your-spoon-and-teeth sticky, and the buffalo sauce on the wings was super salty. The onion rings were good/average. The fried fish must have been blazing hot when it was put into the To-Go container because the styrofoam was melted in two spots (see picture). Maybe the food was placed under a heat lamp until it was picked up and got too hot?
