Still an Atlanta Area classic. The Attic Bar feels so bright and refreshed. It has clearly achieved a new level of elegance and refinement. But it's as cozy as ever with top-shelf drinks and service. If you haven't been in a while get back there for sure.

The resturant outside looks like a beautiful vintage southern style house.
Upon entering I was seated as soon as I entered, was greeted by andrew, he gave me choices, to sit inside or out, I chose outside, very nice seating outside, I notice when entering, they where promoting live entertainment for the dinner this day.
The table I was place at is covered with a biege table cloth that is clean linen, wine glass, appeitizer plate, and untensils wrapped in a table napkins that's linen.
Before my food had arrive I ask to take a look around, and love the seating arrangements. It has a fire place on the left upon entering, there is total of 4-6 areas of seating through out some of the rooms offer open or a private experience, they have 4 themed washrooms which has vintage paintings and current astetics, after doing my litte tour the manger (Lee) brought my food, and ask me if I needed anything else to let him know, secs after Andrew came and ask was everthing ok. I love the chairs they are made up of bamboo, very sturdy
The outside flooring is (wood) colored green, the vibe feels vintage italian to me, its not but it gives me that with a touch of southeren .the lighting decore is very beautiful as well, the fixtures looks like a latern type.
I ordered the granola crusted bannana french bread toast, with brown sugar rum glazed with whipped cream, the presentation for it was very nice 3 slices of french toast bannana bread, whipped cream sits on the side of it with a tin cup filled with the rum glaze, its very soft and moist, the granola bits was better than I expected, I assume it would be crunchy but it was soft and blended so well with the french toast, I also order the veggie burger which is the chipotle black bean patty, fried green tomato, smoked tomato aioli, with house fries.
The burger was well done, toasted bun, didnt even know it was a fried green tomoato once bitten, it was fried very crispy to the point the fried tomato its a delight in the mouth, the aioli sauce was good dipped my house fries inside the sauce which was amazing, the fries was seasoned with just a right amount of sea salt, the sandwhich did come with condiments as well, lettuce, pickles, onions and ketchup, I love the fact it came on the side and not directly on the sandwhich. The only things is my veggie burger was cold on the outside but hot on the inside, I dont know if it was because I sat outside to eat.
After eating I ask for the tab and togo containers, my tab was brought on a fancy vintage tray with a linen napkin, along with my containers , a nice experience, I will return for a futur experience.

Perfect place for our Sunday brunch with family and out of town friends. Lori, our waitress was very knowledgeable as she shared information about the restaurant and menu, as well as she was attentive to our needs without being pushy or interruptive. Thank you to Lori! The food was delicious and homemade from original cocktails to bread basket to varied brunch selections. We live in downtown Alpharetta area and we will be driving back to try dinner one evening soon.

What a lovely evening ! Enjoyed the calmness of the restaurant. The staff was passionate about the food and allowed us to linger and enjoy the space. I highly recommend the signature shrimp and grits meal. Perfection!

Sadly, I wanted to love this restaurant. But I did not. It was a birthday dinner for our daughter and wanted it to be special. The guys ordered New York strips that were over cooked and tough. Whatever seasoning they use was very chemically tasting. Our daughter's short rib was actually excellent. The beet salad I had with seared salmon was ok. The beets tasted canned and were huge slices over a very small spring salad with a sprinkling of blue cheese. Our Server was very nice but inattentive. Left a pile of dirty dishes on the table. Desserts were ok. Peach cobbler tasted like old canned peaches with very little ‘cobbler”. Overall a disappointing experience. Will not go back.

Silas was our server and cute as a button! I will definitely request him next time I am in! He made great recommendations and was very attentive. The crab cake benedict and bread basket was outstanding. I can't wait to come back and try dinner service.

We were there to meet friends and listen to Shadowood play. They were outstanding! The pork chop I had was really good. Very moist and flavorful and cooked just right with roasted asparagus and new potatoes. Overall very good. My husband had the salmon with couscous and said it was really good. The new steak my friend had was not as good. It tasted very strongly of liquid smoke. Definitely was not grilled over wood but they were ring harass to give it that flavor. All the sides were wonderful. The wine we had was great and our wonderful bartender kept it cold for us. It is loud in the attic and can get a bit warm when full, but it is a great place to meet and have good food and drinks with friends.

We got ignored without any server approaching us for almost 30 minutes before we had to ask if someone was going to come help us. We were very close to leaving. The food is always incredible. They did end up giving us a free round of drinks.

The staff were friendly, professional, helpful with the menu and just down right pleasantly comfortable to be around. It made for an experience that will be remembered and discussed with others. Lauren our waitress and the manager all helped make the experience memorable.

Old Vinings Inn is a lovely spot for dinner. Our server was attentive, without being intrusive, for our dinner. The food is excellently prepared and presented. I highly recommend Old Vinings Inn for your next dining experience.

I’m new to GA, from Maryland and heard they had a pretty good crab cake here and I wanted to give it a try. I went for brunch and ordered the crab cake blt, however, I got it pan seared instead of fried and subbed the fries for crispy potatoes. I also got an order of the banana bread french toast (awesome twist to french toast/with a caramel rum sauce. EVERYTHING was delicious!!! I wish I took pics but the presentation was so great I just started digging in…lol. Andrew gave AMAZING service!! When you come ask for him, he will definitely give you a customer experience!!

We had a fantastic brunch today at Old Vinings Inn, celebrating an early Mother's and Father's Day. We were greeted at the door by owner Lee and were quickly seated on the patio. Our waitress, Stacy, did a great job walking us through the menu and making suggestions, as this was our first visit.

We started with the homemade bread basket: chocolate candied bacon muffins, buttermilk biscuits, and a mini cinnamon bundt with delicious pineapple jam and whipped butter. We followed that with veggie omelettes and eggs benedict with fried green tomatoes for our entrées. All really great! Lee and Stacy stopped by several times to ensure we were pleased. For dessert, we ordered the double chocolate candied bacon brownie - absolutely to die for and melts in your mouth!

Lee even gifted my mom a purse holder with an illustration of the Old Vinings Inn and comped our dessert at the end of the meal. A truly memorable experience with top notch service. We will definitely return to try dinner and live music. Thanks again!

It was Saturday night at 7 PM and the place was almost empty. We kept wondering why this was so. We were a party of six and three ordered a pasta vegetarian entrée. It was unanimous. It was not good at all. It was almost all pasta, and I've just a few morsels of vegetables. So now we know why the place was almost empty.
