This was our first time at the restaurant, and we definitely intend to return. Our host was very pleasant and welcoming. Our server, Milan (sp?), was excellent! She was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Milan knew the menu well and gave us great suggestions for ordering. The bartender made an excellent ATL mimosa that did not disappoint. The ambience of One Flew South was right on point. We enjoyed the soulful music that we could sing along with, and the decor was simple elegance. We'll be going there soon for a date night!
IF YOU PICK ONE FLEW SOUTH FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH, YOU MAY NEVER WANT TO GO TO ANY OTHER SUNDAY BRUNCH. THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS EXQUISITE.
This place food was okay. The drinks were outstanding. I just don't understand why this place charges gratuity twice for 2 people on the same check.
Loved the pop up of Ludacris chicken & beer! The food was AMAZING, the service was ok. The drink was good!
On a Thursday at 6 pm, you had a bartender who was waiting on tables, being the host, and trying to make drinks. Not one manager in sight or a chef. Had a drink and left, as you could see it wasn't going to be great. Someone who owns this might need to give it more attention.

Surprised this place wasn’t busier because we had a wonderful time! Cocktails were excellent — especially the You Only Live Twice, a must if you like gin or vodka. For apps we tried the Snapper Ceviche and the Smoked Trout Croquettes. The ceviche was fresh and bright, but the croquettes stole the show — don’t miss them!
We both had the Salmon Curry with green chili, rice, garbanzo, and green papaya slaw. Absolutely delicious and beautifully plated.
Service was great, and sitting outside on a beautiful night made it even better. Parking was easy in the Edge Apartments garage.
We’ll definitely be back! Oh they get extra points for having Uncle Nearest!

General Manager walks around lost. Constant change of taste (the food) makes it impossible to adapt to the menu. Overall needs better leadership, staff, and menu. Not fit for its location on the beltline.

Wonderful dining experience! Attentive and friendly service throughout our visit. The General Manager, Nash, moved through the dining room insuring that each guest enjoyed their meals! Great vibes and ambiance, and the Beltline location adds to the energy!
I don't often write reviews and when I do it's usually to give somewhere between 2-4 stars because really, who reads the five- and one-star reviews.
I have to make an exception. I've eaten at One Flew South several times.
On a recent trip, I had a layover in the ATL airport and decided to hit them up there. That said, this review is about their service, at the Beltline location. I mixed up my receipts on this particular trip and while the Beltline location didn't have anything to do with my mix-up, they fixed everything. They were responsive to my needs, always followed up, and ultimately saved my nigiri!
So often places view our patronage as a transaction, and mine being done wouldn't have provided me with care and concern. Not One Flew South. If you're looking for a place where you can become a familiar face or, even better, a regular, give em' a try. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent location on the Beltline in Atlanta. The menu is creative and has something for everyone.
Our family had a great time together. Food was good, atmosphere was great. Our waitress Erica was the best. Only thing we woyld have wushed is that our table reservation for 1pm would have been ready and we didn't have to stand around and wait. Other than that we will certainly be returning.
We went for the special Uncle Nearest event. The food, service, and staff were great. The only reason why I give it 4 out of 5 is because it was NOT disclosed that this would be a self serve buffet dinner. We all were expecting to be seated and served. There was also patio seating given to guest. That was not disclosed at the time of purchase either. Just a suggestion for the future, please disclose buffet vs seated dinner AND let patrons know that they may be assigned patio seating.
I have eaten there several times, always great food and the staff is excellent. The manager, Nash is very professional.
