The server, Blue, was attentive and very professional, providing us with exceptional service. We took pictures afterward. He was informative, engaging, and knowledgeable about the menu. Blue navigated the flawless menu with enthusiasm and ease. Our decision to order everything and share many dishes impressed him. Chef Lucke even came to the table and took pictures with us after dinner. We had the BEST TIME. Thank you for treating the Sistagurl group to a fabulous experience. We can't wait to return.
As their website says, this is Global Comfort food restaurant. From the moment you walk through the door you're immediately greeted and made to feel welcomed. It's almost as if you're walking into someone's home. It's very cozy and beautifully decorated. I like that their menu has the country that inspired the dish. The amuse bouche was what I would describe as a black eyed pea hummus, which was absolutely delicious and very creamy. Perfect start to the meal. I had the collard green wontons ($16) which was an item they served around Valentine's Day and was a customer favorite. It was packed full of flavor and I appreciated the cream cheese didn't over power the vegetable. The collard greens were vegetarian style, which I especially enjoyed as a pescaterian. It's very rare that I can enjoy greens at a restaurant. I also had the nordic grilled salmon sandwich with fries ($19). I cleaned my plate! I was amazed by how delicious a sandwich could taste. The buttered toasted bread was a nice treat. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the potato fries were like the ones my parents made when I was a child.
Due to the size of the restaurant I recommend reservations which can be made through their website. They also add 20% gratuity to the check but you're welcome to add on more. They have seating inside and outside and they have a bar. During the week they have a happy hour special. You can find street parking in close proximity to the restaurant.

Although extremely busy, the Chef stopped by our table for a brief moment. Sir Christian Bell "Chef Lucke", what a pleasure; he is an exceptional young man.
