Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in Atlanta! Everyone that we encountered during our stay treated us very well, and even loved on our fur baby!
Safe to say she enjoyed the room just as much as her humans did!

I came to this location as my daughter really enjoyed the rooftop. I have been really ill and in and out the hospital. I didn’t know how I would be able to give my daughter an enjoyable birthday. I made reservations through Apple Travels as I had a credit. I called to verify all the things on the morning of and spoke with a lady named Markena or Martina. I hope I didn’t mess her name up, she is the manager I presume, however, I didn’t know who she was over the phone. She made me feel so comfortable, I expressed my illness with her and what I was trying to do.
I came to check in and spoke to Makayla and Yoselin at the front desk. I explained everything and they were so helpful I cried. They knew I had been newly out the hospital and didn’t have much money at the time but I wanted to do the best that I could for my daughter 14th birthday. The entire staff from maintenance to security made this an awesome experience.
I will never forget them and neither will my daughter. Kimpton Overland Atlanta Airport is the best staff and service I have had in a long time. God willing this part of my life will heal soon and I will be able to do something nice for ALL of them.
Thank you again to the staff!!!

Rachel at the front desk was amazing. We arrived late on New Year’s Eve and she had a fantastic attitude and all customers were complementing her. Shuttle service was great as well

First let me say Kimpton Overland looks very nice. It's appealing on the exterior, but the service is terrible! My family and I checked into the Kimpton Overland Christmas Day and had problems at check-in. We booked two rooms and I called the front desk 2 days before arrival to ensure adjoining rooms since our minor children were traveling with us. At check-In I was basically told I did not call the front desk (which was a lie; I googled the hotel number and asked specifically for the front desk and spoke with a young lady working that morning who assured us she had our kids in an adjoining room), instead the front desk Agent just kept telling me I didn't call (basically calling me a liar). Come to find out the adjoining room next to the suite we booked had been given away and our kids room moved to the 3rd floor. This was unacceptable! The agent did try to make it right by giving us two cots for our 3 kids. My son slept on the couch. So instead of having the two rooms we booked for December 25th all 5 of us had to share one room. Fast forward, Saturday morning 1:23am someone was given a key to our room and tried to come in twice! Scared the crap out of my kids who were sleeping in the living room. 7:30am I'm showering and go to lift the soap dispenser because it's almost empty and a used condom falls from behind the bottles onto the metal shelf holding the shampoo, conditioner etc. My family had been using that shower since Wednesday! My 7-year-old could have found that used condom and contracted disease! I asked for the shower to be cleaned and all they did was remove the used condom and put out new towels. Soap was still empty and hair still on shower floor. We left for the day and came back to find out that we had been check out of our room and our reservation canceled. So now we had to prove to the front desk we were scheduled to check out Sunday by showing them the original reservations! There's a lot more but these were the main problems. Our stay was a nightmare! I really expected better quality and service from the Kimpton Brand. Our stay was nowhere near 4-star worthy it was a disaster! We wasted our points and were insulted by everyone's nonchalant attitude about everything that was happening. This stay really made being a Diamond Elite Member feel like a joke!

I don't get to ATL often but when I need to overnight around the airport I always stay here. It's a non airport hotel close to the airport, very calm and relaxed and has a great shuttle to and from the airport.
Specific shout-out to the shuttle driver Franklin who picked me up at the airport on a very cold , busy night with crazy traffic and was extremely professional, helpful and kind. I'm appreciative of the great service after a long, difficult travel day.
Great hotel and highly recommend!

Waiting in line for 50.min. is crazy. TV KEPT going off and on - pretty sad i had to watch TV on my phone, no suffucient counter space or drawers, room was dark, having a nespresso machine for regular coffee drinkers a bit crazy, bar closed too early for weekend, all in all this hotel was a dissapointment glad they covered parking as we were there for a corporate party at the office across the way. Had to carry id to get thru gate ?????? Had no purse or wallet as I had a ball gown on. Like I said very sad the pics on the website are very misleading!!!!

This hotel is in a great location for the Porsche experience, has wonderful views of the track and friendly employees. Yet, there are some big negatives. We only stayed one night and it wasn’t a good experience.
Room seemed awesome at first, we had a track view and a view of the airport to see incoming planes, fantastic until we started getting ready for bed. The duvet had been pulled up but it was obvious the sheets hadn’t been cleaned. Hair, unknown particals and stains showed up on the sheets immediately. Gross! So we called down and asked for house keeping to come change the sheets. Very pilot employees but when they came to the door they just handed us a pile of sheets. Didn’t change the bedding or even offer to. So we did it.
The restaurant was okay, but even though we had reservations, they informed us they had a big party and were busy. It was late, no time to go anywhere else, we rolled with it. We saw our very sweet waitress when she took our order and dropped off our bread and then again when I had to hunt her down to pay the bill. She was very apologetic, I’ve worked in food service, so we just let it go and left.
We had an appointment to do the Porsche experience next door. It was amazing and since when we checked in they said since we had enough points we could check out at 2pm. (We were planning to check out at noon as usual) but since they said, and confirmed the evening we checked in, we had a late checkout so we stayed to have lunch, since we had plenty of time.
In the middle of lunch we get a call that we should have checked out already and they are at capacity…blah blah blah. We told them what we were told, we had until two to check out. They don’t do that, there’s no record of that… so I had to run over, skip lunch, and check us out. Just an all around terrible experience. And since I’m complaining, I’ll just mention the free wine hour where we got barked at “you can only have 2 glasses” when we were just trying to return our empty glasses not get more.
I don’t normally leave reviews but my god! We were only there one night and I will never go back again.

It was late and my flight was delayed, so I missed my connection and had to leave ATL to get a good night rest. Franklin, who was driving the shuttle was very compassionate, cool, hospitable, and consoling. Franklin affirmed I had made the right decision to leave the airport to get only four hours of sleep in a nice cozy bed. He was incredibly sweet when I mentioned my kids, expressing the kindest empathy in the most sincere way. It’s people like Franklin that bring ease to a tough day. I am so glad I made myself leave the airport to calm my nervous system down. The only challenge I had was I was given room #221. There was no 221 on the sign so I had to go back down to the front desk and get a new room number. The front desk concierge helped me switch to another room and I was able to catch the shuttle at 5 am the next day for my return home.

Had to be a christmas event going on the line to check in was out the door. Outside of that great customer service at the front desk very helpful and kind, I had an amazing view of the porsche trax from my room, rooftop & indoor pool was pretty cool too.
Rooms: I definitely will be back to check out the track view room again when the weather breaks the rooms are very comfortable.

This hotel is shabby, worn carpet, no towel bar in bathroom, toilet hard to flush, 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people 3 days, no coffee cups but coffee machine, light fixture 50” off floor where you could kill yourself in dark, no light in hall/closet area so you can’t even see your clothes, phone in bedroom area doesn’t work, safe but no instructions on setting lock, 3 calls to room service but no answer. If you’re doing the Porsche Experience, you need to stay here but this hotel “ain’t no Ritz.” The workers are very nice & courteous.

I stayed at the Kimpton Overland Hotel this past weekend. I had an enjoyable stay. Makayla, who checked me in, was pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. After Makayla explained what the hotel had to offer, I realized I really didn't need to leave the hotel for anything. Check-in was easy, the hotel was really nice, and the room was nice. Even being located on the side opposite the Porsche track, I still had a decent view of the track and Atlanta airport. The room was quiet from the outside of the building, being next to an airport and a racetrack. There was occasional noise from other guests in the hallway. There was plenty of available parking. The room key card didn't work to get in and out of the parking lot as other reviews mentioned but Makayla explained what to do in the event the key card did not work. I would stay here again.
