painted bar was apart of our bar hop saturday during the day while watching college football - the outdoor patio is a great spot for this but you must get there early enough - the vibes are high, conversations are busslin and the atmosphere is ideal (outdoor patio was my only experience, ill be back)

i am a calamari connoisseur, trust me (both they side dips was flavorful too)

Looking to watch a game with fellow fans? Grab a spot on the sofa in the front room. Want to grab a bite with friends after frolicking on the Beltline? Head downstairs to the lower level.

My third visit, first 2 amazing. Gameday GA vsTN the restaurant was packed. HOWEVER they were woefully understaffed. The entire staff smiled but their eyes told a story of Uber stress 😩. Having worked in the restaurant business I could empathize. Before I left in pure frustration I spoke with the manager. He said 4 ppl called out. My humble suggestion on college football day is to overstaff. You can always send staff home early. But it's hard to recover from a 30 minute wait for a drink.

I loveeee this place! Such a vibe and has something for every group. The inside is nice and sexy and moody, and the outside offers an entirely different experience. I’ve brought people here on dates, to chat about serious things, or with my family to have a good time. Loveee it so much! The Painted franchise is killing it!

Cute spot with good drinks. Gets really crowded though and there's not a ton of standing room so its not very easy to move around and takes a while to get a drink

Man!! I love this spot!!! I recently celebrated a birthday at Painted Park. We met with the manager, Elliott, a few days before the event to secure the back room, which is beautiful by the way! He worked with us to secure the area and met the needs of the group. We were concerned a little about having one waitress, but he put Lauren on our group and she rocked! Lauren is probably the best server I have had for a group in a long, long time! She met us when we first got there, made sure we had everything we needed to setup, and made sure my guest was taken care of as they arrived! That sister did not miss a beat! The service and the atmosphere was so awesome, several of my friends asked for a card to plan future events. I will actually be attending one of their events next weekend. Also, did I say the location is lit? Well it is! Thanks again Elliott and Lauren for making my 51st a memorable one.

Food excellent, drinks good - would come back for both in spite of the horrible service we received from the bartender. No greeting, water given to us with such disdain I didn’t want to drink it due to the energy it was presented.

Maybe try not sitting at the bar - I’m sure the service is better.

Our bartender, Winter ... on point! Painted Park is one of those rare spots in Atlanta that truly feels like a creative escape. It’s not just a park — it’s part outdoor art gallery, part community hangout, and part chill zone. The murals and street art are stunning. Every wall tells a story, and you can tell the artists put real passion into the space.

What really sets it apart is the vibe. It’s relaxed, inclusive, and surprisingly peaceful given how close it is to the city’s hustle. We grabbed coffee from a nearby shop and spent over an hour just walking around, checking out the art and people-watching.

It’s dog-friendly, there’s usually music in the air, and on some weekends you’ll catch local pop-ups or events. Honestly, it feels like the creative heart of ATL — gritty in a good way, not over-polished. If you're into street art, good vibes, or just want to see a different side of Atlanta, this is a must-stop.
