The food was fantastic. My boyfriend tried the medianoche sandwich, and he fell in love with it. The service, however, wasn't good. Our server was more interested with flirting at the bar than refilling our drinks, and when we were ready to pay and leave, he was outside smoking. Not a huge deal as servers deserve their breaks, but we were the guy's only table and still couldn't get his attention.

I moved to Atlanta less than 18 months ago and this was my first time getting takeout from Papi's. The service was poor and the chicken soup had overcooked, hard, rubbery chicken. Although I live in walking distance of this restaurant, I won't be returning, unfortunately.

We are Cubans who came to a Cuban restaurant and the cook is not Cuban. They have a very good location and the waitresses are very friendly but the coffee Cortadito is not Cortadito and the toasts are just bread cut and lightly grilled, that is, they are not toasts. I asked for toasts without eggs, but if with the rest they brought them without anything, I told the waitress that it was only without the egg that they put the rest of the cheese and the pico de gallo. The waitress went and got the cheese in less than two minutes. They put it right out of the bag and they didn't gratinate the cheese a little. Then I tell the waitress to please tell the cook that he will gratinate the cheese a little in a grill and what he brings is the chewy bread taken from the bus. The experience is very bad. Please, one comes because we are Cubans and we long to eat Cuban food or Cuban toast and I really don't recommend it. It's very sad but nothing like what you expect from what you find.

I ordered some toast and it was the worst toast I have ever eaten in my life. This restaurant has nothing to do with Cuba and the coffee is American, it is not terrible Cuban coffee.

Still sitting in the restaurant, our server couldn't care less about her job. My sandwich was cold as ice and she acted majorly inconvenienced by my asking to warm it. We rarely saw her and her attitude was giving idgaf about you or your food. The appetizers and entrees came out at the same time. Our sweet teas had maybe 3 cubes of ice which is server code for I don't want to bother to refill them. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta...what a drop off. I've been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years so I understand what quality looks like. Unlike our server I care.I won't be back.

Good Cuban restaurant with a large selection of choices. Very friendly service. It's not a fancy place but it's got a nice ambience with its painted walls.

I use to love this place. I was disappointed by my experience this time. Took 30 minutes to bring me some stale, reheated yuca fries. My server was nice which is why I’m giving it a 2star.

First time here. One of the best Cuban sandwiches I've had. Very flavorful and not dry like many. I'll be back.

The food is good. But when they served us our food they gave my husband different food and proceeded to tell him they ran out of the ropa vieja and just gave him the vaca frita instead of telling him what happened. We waited a very long time for our food. The Lawrenceville location is better when it comes to customer service and friendliness of the workers.

Quality price 100%
Service not very good, we asked for a spoon and it never arrived and the dishes do not come out at the same time.
Very good food mild chimichurri, super delicious beans. Butter toast arrived along with the food plates and was as a starter. Mango juice a little green, the mango lacked sweetness. Fresh and delicious fish.

I’ve been coming to this establishment for years. It used to be better Service, they are very unhelpful very rude Now they barely speak English, so it’s hard to get them to understand your order. If you don’t know exactly how to get the message across to them in Spanish so be weary when you come.
I ordered something I’ve been ordering for years and because they have new employees that couldn’t understand how I was trying to order my food.
