Food is as good if not better over the years. This place has been here for a long time and it's because of consistency. Great authentic French food.
We made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at 6:00 PM. We arrived on time, but the table was not ready. An American African receptionist asked us to wait at the bar. At the bar, we waited for the drink and waited for the table over 30 minutes. We ordered the turkey soups, but they served us pumpkin soups. The dinners were precooked and cold. We ordered the creme brûlées for dessert, but they brought us banana cake. The manager, who had bald hair, confirmed that it was creme brûlée. Two days later, we called the restaurant to discuss the issue. A representative assured us that the restaurant would investigate and contact us again. However, as of today, one week has passed, and no one from La Petite Violette Restaurant has contacted us to rectify the situation.
A very busy place. Huhg with several dining rooms. Very well run. 600 dinners for Thanksgiving. We ate after 5 and the food was as fresh and perfect as it could be. I was impressed. We will add this to our restaurant rotation.
EVERYTHING was Thanksgiving PERFECT! If you want a holiday to remember and tack up on your wall, select PETITE VIOLETTE for everything special and take-home unforgettable!
The staff was friendly, but inattentive. There were three of us dining and each of us had the exact salad, yet mine didn't have a drop of dressing, and I could never find our waitress for assistance, so I ate it without the dressing.
Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful! Excellent food, and excellent service provided in a lovely space.
Nice, leisurely Thanksgiving dinner with options other than turkey and dressing. Petite Violette's is a tried and true establishment here in Atlanta! We've been here other times as well.
Nice restaurant. Seabass was good but not sure it was worth $40 for lunch. Service was good. Salmon Croquets were good. Needed a little more flavor.
Been going to Petite Auberge and Petite Violette for 20 yrs, one of the few upscale, good restaurants in that part of town. Highly recommended. Got the Beef Bourguinon and Coquille St. Jacque, both excellent.
Our waiter Marcus was wonderful at service and recommendations. We were there for a little celebration and had a round table which we loved. Everything was perfect! Thank you.

Pleasant birthday dinner significantly enhanced by the guitar play/singer who happened to be there that night. Luckily we were close enough to hear her over the somewhat loud conversation noise of the other patrons.
Always enjoyable French cuisine and tonight we had the 1974-priced Coq au Vin for $7 as their 50th Anniversary special.

My wife and I ate here last night for dinner. What a lovely seemingly hidden gem. Very traditional environment with an inviting atmosphere and fantastic French classics. We indulged in the cheese plate, a bottle of champagne, and of course -the beef wellington. The service was excellent. Vivian was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. 10/10, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You won’t regret it!

We had reservations for our 49th anniversary on a beautiful Thursday lunch. We arrived and were greeted by the valet and we turned our car over to him. Then we were greeted at the door and gave them our name and it seemed everyone knew we were celebrating.
Noto bene, they are great, you should go there. It that is enough for you, you can leave now. Many blessings on your days.
Marcus came to our table and gave us the rundown on the daily specials and congratulated us on our marriage. I ordered soup and salad and coq au vin, a dish I had always wanted to try. Becky just ordered a salad with salmon. Both dishes were superb, of course, but let me tell you about the bread. Exquisite! Just smelling it when I first brought it to my mouth made me stop and breathe in again. They brought out a bread pudding that was to die for. (I shouldn't tell you this but, they comped it)
Friendly service, great atmosphere and a lot of us gray haired people. All in all a great time of remembering our life and times.
We'll be back much sooner than our 50th.
All the best,
Dan
