We ate at fantasia and the Boba spot and the workers were friendly, extremely helpful and answered any questions we had.

Me and my cousin came here for the first time and loved the atmosphere, I think it looks better at night when the lanterns are brighter. We both got food from the Thai Kitchen and it’s worth the price in my opinion. The staff were also super friendly.

All I did was sit down in the chairs on the patio, I was then scolded by one of the employees about taking up space on their patio. Keep in mind there was maybe 8 people sitting on your patio that holds probably 50. I will never eat a place that has rude staff like that. I would suggest you do the same.

I work at a corproate inside The Battery so I always try to take a walk around the area during lunch time to get a few steps in, especially if it's nice outside. I usually grab something to eat from some establishment and eat somewhere nearby. Today, I sat by Ph'East and I was kicked out when there was nobody around.
There's a part of me that understands because I'm sure it's got to be annoying during game days. But it's The Battery! 30,000+ visitors are there nightly if there's a game, so what do you expect?
Anyways, similar to some past reviews, I got kicked out. Which is fine - again, I get it. But the tone was unecssary. Former military here -- talk to people like you want to be treated, especially in the food industry guy.
Just have to reiterate this was in the middle of the day when NO ONE was around.
If it were me (and I work in the food industry too), I would have calmly let the patron know for next time. Simple as that

It's adorable. It's clean. They offer free ice water for those hot days... but... it's expensive. At least to me.
One burrito is $15 and one boba drink is $7.
I find that pricey.

A little pricey but if you have the money to spend you won’t regret it. The food is good and yummy. Service is fast and friendly. Place can get busy but remains clean.

This review isn't reflective of the merchants here, who I have been a long-time customer of, and whose food has always been good, if a bit over-priced. As stated, I've been a customer of Ph'east since they opened. On my recent visit, a day of 100 degrees, I took shelter in Ph'east to get a Boba tea and work, and I brought my to-go bag from ShakeShack. Despite being a boba-in-hand customer, an overly aggressive bartender approached me and told me that I /could not/ eat my ShakeShack, as was posted on the door. This is a silly rule, given that I also purchased a Boba. But his demeanor was the real issue. They might just be upset that ShakeShack moved in and are directing anger towards their customers, might have had something going on in their lives, but it was a very unpleasant confrontation. They shouldn't be alienating their customers if they feel threatened by ShakeShack. I would feel bad for the merchants who operate here. And the tables were very sticky.

Obvious pattern. Good place years ago. Now, only good reviews are the ones you're paying for.
