Very cool atmosphere and a pretty solid bourbon selection at the bar. The food was good with plenty of variety. It's more of a food court style place with really good Ramen from one of the kitchens inside.

Good place to stop and grab a quick bite! Clean place. Good food. I stopped by before a concert at the Roxy, so we were able to walk!

PH’ EAST is not one restaurant. It is a food court of about four Asian restaurants and a bar that you can order from. I ordered chicken Ramen bowl , the flavor was 10/10. Great vibe a place you can have a good conversation. Well enjoy good food and drink.

I have been here a few times the first time i got a boba tea and the girl working would shout out the orders and hand out drinks very politely but after ordering my drink i sat at the table right in front and she never called my order but called out many after mine i waited 30 minutes so i thought maybe she forgot when i went up and asked about it she looked over at a drink in the corner and said oh its over there no im sorry not even a my bad she didn’t even get up to hand it to me. Another time I got ramen and my family got shake shack since I had hot ramen they came to eat with me on the patio and a man came out to tell us we couldn’t have the shake shack on their patio which even though I had clearly a tray of ramen and it was clear I was eating there I still understand they don’t want competitors food on their property. What I didn’t like is how the man spoke to us like we were idiots he was so passive aggressive and rude that his tone alone made me never want to eat there again. The entire place needs a long lesson on customer service because it seems that no one there knows how to speak to people. The food is okay but the service will make you lose your appetite

Yeah, this place sucks. I’ve had better ramen and when we went I got ramen for my daughter and my mother-in-law got noodles and I decided that I wanted to eat a burger from Shake shack and the manager came out and basically told us we couldn’t eat there just because I had a burger from Shake shack but there were other people around who were eating Jenny’s ice cream and a milkshake from Shake shack but he didn’t say anything to them. He just kicked us out because you’re not supposed to have outside food, but I actually did buy food from inside whereas the people sitting around literally had ice cream from other places and to top it off when he came out to kick us out he asked us if we understood what he said like 10 times probably assuming that we didn’t speak English because we’re Hispanic so I won’t be returning and I was going to buy a bubble tea there when I was done eating, but I didn’t because that’s terrible service. Don’t recommend going the food’s not that great for the service that I received.

Awesome food hall with a fantastic selection of Asian food stalls. My poke bowl was delicious, and it was nice to be able to get a beer from the bar all in one spot. I'd definitely recommend it

Me and my cousin came here for the first time and loved the atmosphere, I think it looks better at night when the lanterns are brighter. We both got food from the Thai Kitchen and it’s worth the price in my opinion. The staff were also super friendly.

All I did was sit down in the chairs on the patio, I was then scolded by one of the employees about taking up space on their patio. Keep in mind there was maybe 8 people sitting on your patio that holds probably 50. I will never eat a place that has rude staff like that. I would suggest you do the same.

I work at a corproate inside The Battery so I always try to take a walk around the area during lunch time to get a few steps in, especially if it's nice outside. I usually grab something to eat from some establishment and eat somewhere nearby. Today, I sat by Ph'East and I was kicked out when there was nobody around.
There's a part of me that understands because I'm sure it's got to be annoying during game days. But it's The Battery! 30,000+ visitors are there nightly if there's a game, so what do you expect?
Anyways, similar to some past reviews, I got kicked out. Which is fine - again, I get it. But the tone was unecssary. Former military here -- talk to people like you want to be treated, especially in the food industry guy.
Just have to reiterate this was in the middle of the day when NO ONE was around.
If it were me (and I work in the food industry too), I would have calmly let the patron know for next time. Simple as that

It's adorable. It's clean. They offer free ice water for those hot days... but... it's expensive. At least to me.
One burrito is $15 and one boba drink is $7.
I find that pricey.

A little pricey but if you have the money to spend you won’t regret it. The food is good and yummy. Service is fast and friendly. Place can get busy but remains clean.
