We were really excited to try this pizza, but it didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered online and it said it would be ready in 20 minutes, we timed this coincide with when we could get there to pick it up, however we got a text literally 3 minutes later that it was ready. They set the pizza out to be picked up so it was of course cold when we got it. We got a white pizza and a margherita one. The white pizza we picked had broccoli on it, but it was very bitter. The other one was pretty good. We did enjoy the crust.

It was a surprising great experience! My family and I were hanging out in Atlanta and my daughter's friend said this restaurant was a great place to have a pizza. We accepted the suggestion and checked that out. You have seats in the "kitchen" where you can see all the pizzas and calzones being prepared and I can say the place where the food is being prepared is very clean. But we can not say the same about the tables - probably because of the high quantity of people eating there - at least the day we went. The ingredients are very tasteful and fresh and they have other ingredients (like a delicious olive oil and a great shredded cheese) to place on the food after it gets to your table. The pizza was really very good - as my daughter's friend said - but it was a little pricy. It's a good place to have an "italian/american" food experience. I definitely recommend!

Great find! Rivals any Napoletana I’ve had from San Francisco to Chicago. We ordered 2 pizzas and one calzone. All amazing. That was plenty of food to feed 5 (3 of which are teenage boys).

I am not a fan of NY pizza, therefore I did not like Antico. I was only able to order 1 opping, so I chose pepperoni. The sauce and cheese was sparsed. As soon as I opened the box, and saw this thin greasy pizza, I knew what time it was. First and last. I put Pappadeux's pizza above Antico.

A really great Italian experience. Being Italian I honestly do not try pizza when I travel, to avoid being “surprised” by the local reinterpretation. But the pizza of Antico was really good, nice dough, right balance and tasty ingredient, delicious as you could find in the best Italian restaurants. The environment is rustic but welcoming and vibrant. A very pleasant surprise!

I found this place as it was ranked the best in Atlanta on several websites, and it has lived up to the hype. Amazing artisanal pies, and excellent sides. Their “large salad” alone is worth the order, with a great house made vinaigrette. Even ordering delivery they were able to get the food out quickly, and the pizza arrived warm and delicious.

I am surprised that given the upper class clientele that shops at the Avalon that this place attracts the crowds it does. First off, there are basically 10 pizza options (5 red sauce, 5 white sauce) that you can select from, so forget ordering your favorite toppings. Secondly, the toppings are SPARSE. There is more dough than cheese and toppings. Fortunately, the dough is very good and they offer olive oil for dipping. A recent experience this past month was disappointing. When eating our pizza, we noticed that our hands were turning black. We realized it was the burn debris from the pizza oven that made its way onto the bottom of the crust.

Antico's is the most authentic Naples style pizza you will find in Atlanta. Your pizza is brought to you fresh from the stone oven with ingredients imported from Italy. If you are looking for quality pizza, this is the only place to go. Antico's brings old fashioned Southern Italian pizza making techniques to Atlanta - from hand kneaded dough to Italian D.O.P tomatoes. The warm Margherita D.O.P Rosso Pizza pizza has a thin chewy crust that is layered with pockets of mozzarella, tomato sauce, and your choice of topping - opt for the pepperoni. The Funghi (mushrooms) is also one of my favorites. But you must decide quickly because you only get 1 extra topping. Get additional fixins from the toppings bar. These include grated parmesan cheese, whole red peppers, fresh pressed garlic, and crushed red peppers in oil. If you sprinkle some of the last two on your pizza slice, your mouth will thank you. To get water, you have to pour yourself a cup from the dispenser on the left of the establishment. It is fully self serve and you will need some water because the pizza is so savory. This location in Avalon is always crowded but it is easy to get a pizza or two. Just walk in straight to the counter and place your order from the menu above the register. They also serve wine and a variety of drinks. In the refrigerator on the right, there are delicious desserts. These are excellent to bring home and a meal would not be complete without an Italian Tiramisu. The Tiramisu here is delicious, sweet, and delicate. Grab one on your way to the counter.

My kids graduated from Georgia Tech. We love this place. Walk from campus if you can, parking can be difficult at some times. I order a different pie each time. So far, Lasagna pizza is my favorite. BTW, it does warm up well but I did use Air Fryer.

We had take out. It was suggested from a friend who lived in Atlanta before. There is nothing special . It is just simply pizza with lots of bread .

Incredible Pizza- dough to die for! Open kitchen concept is fun to watch the pizzas cooking, the dough rising, and all of the fixings! Overall a great experience!

I live in NYC (humble brag) so I like to think I know good pizza. Antico is REALLY good pizza. It rivals the top spots and you will leave this place highly satisfied every single time. Don't walk, run to Antico!

Of course the food is the priority and it was excellent - great pizzas. Sadly our experience was compromised by an utterly miserable woman on the till - your are the first touchpoint for the brand and she did you no favours. I would add that the serving staff int he cooking area were charming.
