I went the Sunday before Christmas. The first red flag was the parking lot was empty. I thought the store was closed. I went in and got my online order. The cupcakes were hard and stale. I used to go to this location all the time and it was always very busy so I was very surprised when there was no one there and now I see why.

I was not disappointed, these cupcakes were some of the best! They were a great size and the flavors were great! The icing was not overly sweet and the cake part had perfect moisture and texture. I can’t wait to order again!

Very very disappoint in the way piece of cake handle my online order after I paid 70$ for a cake and you allowed DoorDash to take my purchase cake to a stranger home and I would not have known until the other customer call me an told me my cake was at her home. I have nothing nice to say about piece of cake right now. Except that was bad business and you all need to set in policy to do better with making things right for your customers. With those high ass cakes. And sorry customer service skill and I'm a chef so I know I was served wack service today by a piece of cake.

I purchased cupcakes for my son’s 16th birthday.We were both extremely excited to try out the delicious cupcakes. They were super dry!!!! I asked the young lady if they were baked fresh daily. She says yes!. They were baked and brought over daily from Collier location. I am extremely disappointed in the taste and quality of the cupcakes received just 1 day ago on April 7th, 2024!! ( I’m writing this review on April 8th, 2024. That is how upset, disappointed and perturbed I am) It can’t be possible that the cupcakes were baked fresh!!
I would like a refund or given fresh cupcakes because I drove wayyy to Buckhead and it was on my son’s special day. My family was very upset to get extremely dry/ OLD cupcakes!!!
The company has to stop lying to customers about the freshness and quality of the cupcakes/ cakes sold. There is a repeated pattern expressing how dry, crumbly the cakes/ cupcakes taste and look.

They had never been, but I used to frequent this location FAITHFULLY when I worked at the High Museum. I’d always rave about wonderful customer service and the homemade taste, with the Caramel Cake being my favorite! After having moved to TX, I’d even inquired about having cakes shipped to me but the shipping costs were astronomical. So, I made sure when we were in town we’d stop by for goodies. We bought several slices and several cupcakes. Everything was stale and crumbly. My family was like “you raved on and on about THIS?” We weren’t greeted when we came in and even when we said we were visiting from Houston, all we got were blank gazes…:::crickets:::. I was quite disappointed and felt awful for wasting my family’s time. I’ve read the recent reviews and it seems like things have gone down recently. Quite disheartening. This particular location used to be the BEST in town, hands down. Now? Not so much. Too bad.

In one word, Stale. I got 3 types of cakes and they not only all tasted the same they tasted like stale, days old cakes from the grocery store. They all went into the garbage. They were crumbly, the frosting was disgustingly thick and low quality sugar was the only distinguishable flavor. Also ordered the 5 layer bar and the same story-tasted like old margarine/butter and rock hard. This was my second try the first was last year when my family got my birthday cake from here and it was similarly lacking in freshness and flavor.

I buy cakes or cupcakes for my loved ones at this location every other month. I have NEVER experienced the rudest customer service from an employee until today. The woman with the dreads asked me if I could walk out and move my car and come back in because I was parked in the driveway although I had an order ready. I asked her if I could simply grab my order and leave bc it was ready and she spent more time trying to argue with me and telling me how annoying it is for customers to do than it would’ve taken for me to run in and get my order and leave. Her attitude and tone was extremely rude and condescending and I will not be supporting this location again. BEWARE!EDIT: NOT ONLY WERE THEY RUDE BUT THEY ALSO GAVE ME THE WRONG CUPCAKES and said they will NOT be able to issue me a refund but would give me a “cake credit”. Absolutely ridiculous!

My preferred place for something sweet. Cake is the way to go. Always great cakes here. Caramel, peanut butter, hummingbird are my favorite but I can eat em all. The cookies are good also. Some days they have deals. Small shop small parking spaces. Don’t need much just good product. In and out in a couple minutes. Highly recommend.
