I just found out about this gem this weekend and decided to try it. The food was delicious and the service was top notch! I am so happy to have a plant based restaurant close by and will definitely go back as there are multiple items that I want to try!

We had the MLT (pictured), the oyster mushroom sandwich, avacado vanilla smoothie and the soursop collada. All of them were delicious! Even meat-eaters would enjoy.

The price and the portions are not in sync. I see the owner likes to respond sarcastically about finding a restaurant that suits your budget but my budget is unlimited for really good food and this place disappointed me. I really wanted to be excited about it especially because it’s black owned. I realize that when I support my own, I have to prepare to be overcharged and under serviced. The tacos were decent but they needed a better temperature and more toppings like lettuce or pico and for $18 for 3 small tacos with 2 or 3 ingredients I felt robbed. The MLT is a hard pass. The sauce was bland, bread extra chewy and mushrooms lacked flavor and for $15 just for that, just heart breaking. You can easily spend $50 and still be hungry and unsatisfied.

This is the healthiest spot in Atlanta. I say that with absolute confidence. Everything is 100% plant based. None of that beyond meat nonsense or soy protein lab-made stuff. If you are a health-conscious eater, this is the spot for you. Even down to specific ingredients of each part of the meal, I asked the owner (who was taking my order at the time), and she was able to answer every detailed question. I really hope multiple locations are in their business plans.

If I had to make one suggestion for improvement, it would be to expand the seating. If I remember correctly, there is only 1 table. Unfortunately, space is limited, so the only way to expand the seating would be to move to a larger location. I could see how that could be a logistical nightmare, so in the meantime, I will drive an hour to come here without hesitation.

Our food was so flavorful! My husband got the G burger, I got the Tamarind BBQ Fried Oyster Wraps, and we split some Truffle Burro fries; all were delicious! My husband says he doesn’t like mushrooms, but he ate some of mine that fell out. They were a bit spicy, but oh so delicious, and the texture was on point. Friendly service too! 100% recommend!

The MLT sandwich was a nice size but not the best flavor. The cajun burro fries weren’t good and everything was expensive. I spent $26 + dollars and not satisfied on taste.

My other half and I ordered the MLT and walnut meat street tacos, which were fresh, flavorful and filling! We look forward to returning soon and trying some other menu items. Much success and thanks to the owners and staff as they continue offering nourishing, alkaline foods that are good for the body and soul. 😀
