Fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant. the flavors of the food were exceptional and the prices were extremely reasonable. We will definitely be back with the whole family. Kids loved the steak and rice (and so did I) and the chicken Tamal was great!

I was so confused by this place. There were loads of tables, but they were covered with stuffed animals and laminating machines. The owner and manager were actively making menus during dinner, not serving. My drink and food took forever as the owner and manager just laminated away.

When the food finally came out, the tacos were so dry. They needed some type or sauce or to not over cook the meat or marinade it better. Also, we had to ask for silverware and napkins… like… that’s super basic.

Was really looking forward to this spot, but miss the marked on so many points.

My husband and I visited Polanco during Buckhead restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem tucked away in a strip mall. The staff is super nice and the food is amazing!! The cocktails are fantastic, can’t say enough nice things about this place, but I’ll say this, we were so impressed that I threw my 45 person baby shower here and the owner Gustavo went the extra mile to make me feel special, loved and absolutely unstressed throughout the process. All my guests loved the restaurant, the food, and the drinks. This is our go to spot now!

Polonco Taqueria rocks - every time we come here it’s a great experience. Unique traditional style Mexican - big change from regular ATL Mexican.

The food, service and karaoke were all great! They give you small microphones as well as real ones, which I thought was really cute. Only reason I’m not giving 5 starts was some condensation from what I assume was the AC on top of us and that was leaking on our table and heads. Aside from that everything was perfect and will definitely be back.

The food was quite good, and as a Mexican, I appreciated the authentic flavors. The restaurant is small but has a cozy atmosphere. However, I feel they could dim the lights at night, especially during dinner. It was a bit too bright for us.

The service was good overall, although they did forget one of the dishes we ordered. They were quick to apologize and offered us a generous discount, which we appreciated.

We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

An amazing meighborhood Taqueria. Food was fresh, delicious and unique. With so many tex mex places Atlanta, it is refreshing to find tasty beautifully prepared Mexican food that took me back to places in Latin America. The owner was personable and his staff especially Alexandra personal without being pushy or too invasive of a date lunch. Will be returning regularly. Still have the tuna appetizer taste and snapper fish taco with a nice slice of avocado in my mind for another visit. Please help keep this unique place busy and in our neighborhood!

Great new spot in Sandy Springs! Food was delicious, drinks were tasty, service was great (thanks Dariangel!) and we were very impressed by how kid-friendly it was! They had an adorable painting activity for the kids: paintbrushes, aprons to borrow and mini canvases! An incredible touch that we haven’t seen at other restaurants before.

My husband and I have found our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Sandy Springs area. The food is so fresh, and the cocktails are well balanced and full of flavor. We love their nachos too! Full of flavor and you’ll leave the establishment feeling full!
