PONKO Chicken Midtown

Hey guys!!! Today, my friends and I decided to go on a fun adventure. After we got hungry, we decided to stop by Ponko's. We went through the ratings and saw pretty great things, and it did not disappoint. The service was absolutely amazing, the food was incredible, and everything met expectations and surpassed it. The chicken sandwich was so flavorful, the ranch was super good - it reminds me of Wingstop ranch. The fries were crunchy and fluffy on the inside, the wings were good portions, super saucy - everything was so good. We came just in time before they closed. Shout out to the staff - they were super friendly and incredible. I'll definitely be back, trust!!

Best fried chicken and fries in midtown, super crunchy and well seasoned. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, specially Veer!

I stopped by Ponko Chicken today and had one of the best surprises I’ve had in a minute. First off, Veer and Mahi at the front counter were amazing — super friendly, great energy, and they just made the whole place feel welcoming.

I tried the 3-piece tofu tenders, and wow… those things were crazy good. Perfect crunch on the outside, soft on the inside, and the flavor hits instantly. You can tell they fry with rice bran oil too — it tastes cleaner and lighter, but still gives you that full, satisfying bite. Lowkey some of the best tofu I’ve ever had.

Between the food and the people, this spot is an easy five stars. If you’re thinking about trying Ponko, do it. And definitely get the tofu tenders — they do not miss.

Chicken tenders were dry and hard. I regretted coming.

Work next-door and we always have such a great time whenever we come. The drinks are really good and today was our first time coming when they had the trivia night we won second place lol :-) :-) smile smiley face. You should definitely come and check it out. You might surprise yourself ♥️🤭
