Stopped by to finish up some work on my laptop after an early lunch. Great remote work environment, plenty of seating, and PASTRIES that taste a little like home. The pumpkin spice latte was pretty tasty too. Not too sweet, not too milky. It was different from other PSL I’ve had this season. Great coffee shop overall! Oh and I almost forgot you can miss the building if you don’t pay attention. Lol.

The baristas are great, but this place is understaffed. There's a wait even with two barristas working quickly and efficiently. However, it's worth the wait to get the Turmeric Tamer because it's one of the best hot drinks in town. Truly.

I waited for 10 minutes with no line and no customers ahead of me for my drink. The bartender was moving so slow I probably could have gone back there and made it myself. Not one staff member was concerned about my wait time, they were more concerned about who was on aux. I literally saw the espresso shot travel around the whole counter and was even part of the aux debate until it made it to my cup. To top it off, the coffee was so bad for $8. Just walk down to PERC instead for quicker service.

Sadly this little spot in a lovely location that is highly walkable disappoints. We ordered two hot drinks - a chai which my husband enjoyed and is made locally I was told :) and a tea latte (here is where the disappointment lands) with one Trader Joe’s teabag in it. I’m sorry what? $7.00 for this? No homemade syrups either here so it’s a no for us. The yummy chai just wasn’t tasty enough to counterbalance the large tea latte with only one tea bag …from TJ’s!

Stale pastries, and lukewarm coffee. Got a “fresh brew “in the afternoon. Realized it was only lukewarm so I asked for a fresh cup, which they could not accommodate. So I asked them to microwave it, and it was still not hot enough. Also tasted pretty sour as it was probably sitting around for a long time.

The croissant was so buttery and delicious. I will be back for another breakfast sandwich.

Went here late one morning and got the vegan breakfast sandwich which is “served with fresh spinach, soysage, and tomato on grilled sourdough” according to their menu. I ordered this not thinking it would be so literal and was quite unimpressed when I received my food. The soysage only covers about half of the space of the sandwich bread so a lot of bites did not include this. Also this clearly was not given much thought as to what would go well together and taste good. It was very bland and could have used some sort of vegan aioli. I was excited to see a vegan breakfast sandwich on the menu but disappointed with the outcome. They also had a vegan banana nut muffin which I will try later and give an update on. My boyfriend did get a hot oatmilk latte which he said was good so I’m not writing this place off completely, I just won’t be ordering the vegan breakfast sandwich again and wanted to warn others from such blandness. Definitely did not win sydVfood Updated from previous review on 2025-09-18

Great atmosphere in heart of VaHi. Nice selection of tasty sandwiches and baked goods. Friendly staff. I tried the turmeric tamer and that got my whole circulatory system singing in a good way!

Nice spot that provides some originality to the area. Frequent here often. Could improve in cleanliness overall. Moldy toilet, dirty sink, and dirty walls, etc.

Really appreciate the outstanding customer service here! Vibes inside are great, coffee was great and appreciate the paleo/dairy free options for pastries!

Great food, good coffee, wonderful atmosphere. This is the best coffee shop in the area if you want a proper place to sit down and spend some time enjoying a good sandwich, smoothie, or coffee. Don’t get me wrong, the other coffee shops in the area are great, but you just don’t get much space to yourself. Press and grind is a true “third space”. Enjoy!

Great atmosphere in this cozy VaHi location. Best part to me is that they make their own almond milk and coconut milk in house. Huge plus!
