Stayed here for two nights to see Luna at the Roxy. Ate breakfast one day and dinner one night, both times the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We WILL be back.
We dined for Father's Day and it was plum awful! We previously dined there for Mother's Day brunch and it was magnificent, which is why we went back. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS COLD. We could not believe it, and there wasn't a dessert selection like the one on Mother's Day. I think the worst for me was the fact that my mimosa was served in a plastic cup. ?.. I don't think we will ever go back, plus the service lacked as well. They really need to do better for the dads and in general.
We went for the Mother's Day brunch. The food was absolutely delicious! Having the jazz band and flower bar were excellent additions to the meal. I don't like breakfast food or eat meat other than fish. There were plenty of varieties of scrumptious dishes for me to choose from. I will be returning!
The food at the Mother's Day brunch was very good. However, the service was lacking and they were rushing us to leave even though they had several empty tables. We had to order condiments and drinks through other servers because our was missing in action. We saw her several times after receiving our bill, which we didn't ask for. I don't like to be given my bill when I'm not finished ordering drinks and I didn't ask for it. It was hard for this to be a comfortable and relaxing family gathering because of the server rushing us.
I'm sure our meal would have been delicious had they been open. Was allowed to make a reservation through open table, valet parked and told them we were going to the restaurant, dragged our 9 month old inside, only to find a sign on the door that said “for service see lobby bar” and the doors locked. Checked with lobby bar... pastries only.
My husband and I wanted to try something new in the battery and gave Achie's a shot highly recommend others to try this place out! The serving staff was attentive and personable and knowledgeable on the food items! The cocktails were incredible and not your average gin and tonic ;) we had the meat and cheese board to start then the scallops and ribeye for dinner. The scallops were amazing 10/10 would recommend to a friend and will Be dining back at achies!
Brunch - It was barely okay. The potatoes were crispy and tasty and my food was fine but it was boring. A friend told me that the Hugh Acheson's and so I'd been looking forward to trying it out. The omelette was okay and but the only interesting thing was the Boursin cheese spread that was just dolloped in the middle. The salad was a dry pile of arugula with a uninspired dressing. It's certainly not difficult to wash some leaves and toss on the plate. One table mate's sausage was rubbery and my husband's chicken and waffle was rather disappointing. Essentially, nothing was interesting. But what brings the score down is cost. If it had been a cheap breakfast, it would be an okay place. At those prices it's just not worth it particularly when you have to deal with the parking at The Battery to get there. Not surprising that the places was mostly empty on a Sat morning.
The service was very slow. The place didn't seem to be overly crowded and things were slow every step of the way...from the time it took our waiter to first show up to the time it took to have him pick up our credit card.
We ate at Achie's before a Braves game recently. In general, the cocktails were a bit expensive for what they were and the food we had (a burger and the chicken sandwich), was fine but nothing special, really. The wait for the food was not too long and the fries were very good, though. I might go again before a game, but I would try many of the other dining options around first.
We had a front table to the festivities of the Braves game and the Battery Park on Sunday night. It was a GREAT experience. Once the trees in front of the patio mature for some additional shade it will be all things amazing. Can't wait to visit again.

Our second breakfast in as many days. We were NOT disappointed. Avocado toast, great. Lemon pancakes, yummy. Omelet, cooked just right. Cute pyramidal tea bags, really neat. It's all good.
We celebrated our 45 anniversary at Achie's. Had the meat and cheese board as an appetizer and was very good. Eating light so we had salads also very good. Nice atmosphere and good service. Wasn't very crowded. We would go back again.
Achie's is a good choice for a quick dinner if you are staying at the Omni and going to a Braves game. The food is good , but not spectacular. The menu is not extensive. Our server was efficient and very friendly and people watching through the window onto The Battery was fun. We had an issue with the wine we ordered but our waiter more than made up for it.
Our service was amazing from beginning to end! Our hostess was amazing and our server was very attentive! We all had amazing things to say about food and the drinks! I will definitely be back!
Service was great. We never felt like we were being rushed. Our son loved his burger and fries, maybe we'll get that next time. My shrimp and grits and my wife's scallops were good but a small portion w/ no side. Dessert was okay. Price of the burger was fair but the others were not when no side was included. Get a table by the window to watch people outside The Battery esp. if an event is going on.
