Well there should be a category for drinks so I can give that a 1.
for 2nd time eating there I felt very dismissed like I got a big "EF U Negrita!"
The lemon chicken soup was awesome but for some reason the bartender and even the manager messed up THREE different drinks.
A vodka and tonic had a weird minty taste. The waitress finally admitted the previous drink made had mint in it... eeewwww. I thought they had a messed up fake tonic so tried something else.
My gin and ginger ale was made with ginger beer instead of ginger ale. NOT THE SAME so I had to explain how to make rum drink that DOES use ginger beer.
3rd try - I figure how can someone mess up vodka and Sprite? They DID! It tasted like watered down flat Sprite, AND MORE water... with a splash of vodka. I saw her taking it back before it came to the table so no telling what cluster---- was done to it the 2nd time. I've never been so insulted and perplexed by the inability to make a simple vodka drink. The waitress was sweet and apologetic but I am disgusted with the bar skills there. I only drank it because I knew they'd charge for it since I asked for Ketel One...and I felt badly for the waitress. Years ago when we were there for 5 de Mayo the grilled chicken looked like it had giant zebra stripes so tasted burnt. They weren't remotely interested in redoing it so that I could maybe ENJOY eating it. "Pure" annoyance. Probably won't be back.

The chicken tostada was good, especially since it doesn't have much onions

Pure Taqueria in Brookhaven, Georgia, offers a lively atmosphere and a diverse menu. The service is friendly, and the margaritas are well-prepared and delicious. I highlight the enchiladas suizas for their creamy green sauce and the birria tacos for their rich flavor and crispy texture. Enjoy!

Ordered the shrimp fajitas and was served 6 regular sized shrimp on top of a pound of veggies. Not worth the price. Service was good. Not sure I’d go back.

Food was mid. Service was ehh. All the waiters were arguing with each other. The music was depressing and made me not want to go back.

There is plenty of parking around the establishment. They have two floors, first floor is regular restaurant, second floor is a bar. The service was good, the severs were helpful and attentive. The food was good, but nothing special. I am giving a one star solely in that the bathrooms were discussing, they were dirty and just unsanitary.

Pure is my favorite restaurant for Mexican food!!! The chips are fresh and crisp! I love how they have specials with different types of meat and fish. Their premium margaritas are the best!!!!

The food is mediocre but margaritas are fresh and delicious. The patios are wonderful and the live music is pretty fun too.

I just feel like there are better Mexican restaurants in town that aren't as expensive as Pure. charging for chips and salsa is crazy. the queso was good. I think my carne asada was a little undercooked. that being said, the atmosphere was nice, but I probably won't come back, sorry!

We have been going to this location for many years, since it opened, and used to love it. We have seen quite an increase in their prices, the atmosphere and energy has steadily declined, they no longer have draft beer on the roof top, the margaritas are mostly fresh and taste great but the ice is 90% of the drink. Without the ice, you could fit the entire drink in a shot glass, way overpriced! The service has and still is outstanding. We would really like to frequent the roof top as we did in the past but they really need to lower their prices or provide a lot better value for what you end up paying. Very expensive!

It's OK. I wasn't impressed with the menu. It didn't look like a Mexican restaurant to me. Too modern, no atmosphere, too sterile. All was a little pricey, too. We went onToca Tuesday??...$3.50 a taco with hardly anything in it. All I got in my soft corn tortilla taco (which tasted like cardboard) was a small scoop of chunky chicken. Hubby had a shrimp fajita. He wasn't impressed. This place may be a great place for many and the very young, but it didn't catch my eye nor appetite for me to want to go back. Atmosphere a bit plane and sterile...not my style. There are too many authentic Mexican and Tex/Mex restaurants to be visited in the area first.
