The food was EXCELLENT Today 7/30/25. It was as good as the first Month they opened in 93. My selections included baked chicken, collards, black eye peas and the Lemonade-Tea mix. An awesome dinner. The one short-coming was the air conditioner setting....it must be turned to Low.

Either it's under new management or the person that is to be over the kitchen not there anymore. The food has not been the same in taste and there are fewer choices. Just not as good as it is to be and I'm a long time patron.😞😔

Don’t order from here the chicken wings are dry as hell, the Mac and cheese just take like noodles and a dash of cheese NOT SEASONED at all. How you a soul food restaurant and don’t season the food crazy as hell. The pork chop was hard as a rock, yams are so stringy it’s disgusting. DONT EAT HERE unless you got money to waste and still don’t eat here if you do. The only thing good is the corn bread muffin.

The first thing that catches my attention when walking into an establishment is the cleanliness, don't expect that here. It seems like a high traffic area that never gets cleaned. With that behind me, I swallowed by doubts and ordered food for 3 kids, 2 adults... Everyone got an adult plate... Hamburger steak, ribs, chicken, turkey wings, veggie plate. The sides were mac and cheese, brocolli casserole, string beans, sweet potato pone, greens, stuffing. I got a free peach tea to accompany my veggie plate. The food had great flavor. Everything was served hot and was delicious. The ribs were very tough to get off the bone for my kid. I was hoping for peach cobbler and cornbread but they were out of both but we were offered white bread. Nice southern soul food meal that I didn't have to prepare. But because I was raised by a soul food cooking black mama I have high expectations for cleanlinesss. 2 star review is solely based off appearance. Staff was friendly. I'll return to try the peach cobbler and cornbread.

My kids and I don't get to the area often but when we do, we will come to Q-Time. The food was noticebly different. So much so, I headed straight to the Google Reviews to understand what was different and it confirmed what I thought. To the new owner, try to fix it is all that I'm saying.

I ordered a veggie plate and it was just…..okay. Mac and cheese, yams, cabbage. There was something missing as far as flavor goes. No soul in the soul food. Corn bread was like a sponge. Likely my last visit. I hate it got sold to Asian owners because it’s just not the same.

I got the turkey wing combo. This comes with two sides and a muffin. I got dressing and yams, which was very good. My mom got a pork chop plate with turnip greens and macaroni. I would say the turkey needs more salt but I know they have to be mindful. The drink selection was lemonade. You can also get sweet tea, bottled water, and canned soda. The service was okay. Overall I enjoyed my meal and will be coming back.
