I’ve been coming to Rain Thai Sushi Bar for over 10 years, and it never disappoints. The sushi is consistently fresh and flavorful, the drinks are creative and well-balanced, and the service is always warm and attentive. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such high quality and welcoming vibes for so long. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, Rain Thai Sushi is my go-to spot after working all day ! I Highly recommend!

Food very good, but service could be more attentive

I got the sushi Atlanta roll! Pretty big rolls . Just check the current waste because prices change and went up . It’s not bad

The food is always great here. It's easy to get a table at lunch, nice and quiet. Located close to the highway and convenient between Decatur and Buckhead.

This was my first time visiting, and it came recommended by my daughter, who visited with her non ethnic friends.

First, weren’t greeted even though it wasn’t busy (only one man eating his food, and a table at the front who were finishing. Then we were taken to the table, a left for about 15-20 mins, but we patiently waited. They came to take our order, then 3 other new tables that came in at separate times, and they all got their food/ sushi, before we even got our Miso soup and spring rolls. We were still patient, then I mentioned it to the man that was serving us (who I must say was not friendly at all), and he walked off and waved his hand, and went to get a new customer. I went to the front, thinking he might not have understood me, and he had the worst attitude, and continued to dismiss me. He spoke in his language, to another staff member then walked off. We were clearly not accepted in their space because all of the other customers were white, and they were all eating. I should have known by the vibe that was given once we were waiting to be seated.

We unfortunately had to leave after sitting there for 30 minutes and realizing no one wanted to serve us (the only black people there). We politely ask why we were the first ones there and the only ones that haven’t been served & we were met with a very nasty attitude and our server walked off. It was blatantly clear that they didn’t want us there. Everyone else (who happened to be white) was greeted with a smile while we were greeted with straight faces, told to seat ourselves while making absolutely no eye contact and hostility. It’s so unfortunate that we have to deal with this in 2025.

The staff at Rain Thai are so kind and welcoming and the food is delicious! My partner and I had their sushi and it was so flavorful and tasty. 10 out of 10 stars.

I have been coming here for years. I have been here hundreds of times. I only come here because I go to the Publix next to the restaurant. The restaurant was a lot better when the owners worked there. However they bought another restaurant and are no longer here most of the time. The manager there has not learned my name even though I have been eaten there hundreds of times. Some of the servers are nice but some are not. One of the servers who is no longer there would never say hello even if I said hello. She treated me like dirt. I don't feel respected here even though I have spent a lot of money here. If this continues I will have to go elsewhere. I'm not paying to be disrespected.

Loved the sushi and the Tom Kha soup! Great service. The sushi I had was the Georgia Roll it has a slightly sweet sauce underneath it, delicious!

Food is good but on (literally) 100% of take out orders they have been more than 30 minutes late from the time stated.
