We recently visited Ray's Restaurant and had an amazing experience! We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Nick, the bartender, whose hospitality truly stood out. His knowledge of spirits was impressive, and he crafted one of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but Nick’s professionalism and personality really made our visit special. We’ll absolutely be back — and hope to see him again!

Top-Tier Seafood & Service in Downtown Atlanta
If you’re looking for the best seafood in Downtown Atlanta, Ray’s in the City is a standout. We had an incredible experience, largely thanks to our server, Tee, who was professional, attentive, and made excellent recommendations throughout the night.
The Food: The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and the Horseradish Crusted Grouper are absolute must-tries. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, including the made-to-order sushi.
The Vibe: It has a perfect upscale atmosphere that works for a business dinner or a night out before a game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Being right on Peachtree Street, the location is super convenient.
If you visit, definitely ask for Tee—the service was the highlight of our evening!

The Best Meal and Service that I had in my visit to Atlanta Georgia. The hostess was very kind, the waiter Alex very professional, and the food was delicious. My favorite dish was the Calamari appetizer. The salmon was also cooked perfectly. I will definitely Come here the next time I am in Atlanta.

One thing I loved was how real they were with the recommendations. They didn’t just point at the most expensive thing — they actually guided us toward what would taste the best and fit what we were in the mood for. The wine list was impressive too, with great variety and quality options. Now I can’t lie, seeing a drink called “Christophe Patrice” on the menu felt like a sign. I had to try it, and I’m glad I did — it was refreshing, smooth, and dangerously easy to sip. And the shrimp and grits? Whew. Some of the best I’ve had, especially for lunch. The grits were creamy and rich, and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. Every bite hit. That combo alone is enough reason for me to come back.

Great food, great atmosphere, and great drinks! Our server Alex was amazing and made great suggestions. I originally ordered the Red Snapper, but they were sold out and he recommended the Roasted Branzino and it did not disappoint at all. Alex also recommended our drinks and they were perfect. We had the Out of Office and What’s the Catch. For our appetizer we had the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp and Parker house rolls. My husband didn’t care for the Shrimp, but I loved the dish. If you’re expecting a traditional BBQ sauce, this is not that. However, to me, it was delicious and paired well with the grit cake. The rolls were delicious as well.

Ari is by far the best waitress I've ever had at an established. Honestly, probably one of my most favorite humans alive. The food was amazing and everything was perfect. It's pricey, but totally worth the experience.
