Place was almost empty, yet it took nearly 10 minutes for anyone to greet us at our table. When our server, Rebecca, finally did arrive, she was very friendly and knowledgeable and her service was good. Once ordered, food came out quickly, but entrees were delivered to our small table before empty appetizer dishes were removed to clear space. Overall, the food was surprisingly bland. Blackened redfish, which should be spicy and savory, had no flavor profile at all. The only noticeable flavor in the crabcakes was that of plain breadcrumbs. I was shocked at how mediocre the food was, given the fairly high ratings in the Open Table reviews. Overall, this meal was a dissapointment and not nearly worth the price.

I had great food and service on my visit to Ray's downtown Atlanta. I arrived early for my reservation, and they promptly moved me into a table from the very beginning the service was excellent. I probably had no less than four people looking after me, including a stop by the manager. I chose seafood for this trip and the salmon was excellent. Just what I had hoped for. I also got dessert... I highly recommend the butter cake.

Ray's In The City is our choice for our celebration tonight and Armani and Kat have been amazing Host thus far. As we're waiting for our table they answered all of our questions promptly and professionally. We haven't met our server yet, nor began to dine - but we are eager for the next part of our experience.
UPDATE: Servers were great. We had the pleasure of being served by the finest Miss Rose and Sir Jorge. They gave exceptional service and accommodated to all of our needs.
If perfection was possible they have achieved it tonight.

Ray's was a great experience. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was relaxing and quiet. They have a great selection of steaks and seafood, and everything was high quality. I had a peppercorn top sirloin, and we shared mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, corn creme Brule, and brussle sprouts with cauliflower. My signature cocktail of a peach margarita was excellent. The location was nice and a short walk from the Marriott hotel.
