This is a really great spot for the community but easy, free parking for a live music venue? That's gotta be the best part.
Needs a deep clean and renovation… better air flow and acoustics would be nice too. Tiny and flimsy plastic cups for drinks do not make it easy to have a drink without spilling it.
More so, replacing a GREAT bartender while they were out of town with no notice is not a fair way to treat people that work for you. Thankfully there are nicer venues in ATL that treat their workers better.
Wednesday night Jazz open mic is STELLAR!
Go for the music, comedy, burlesque, and any other damn thing happening there.
Zero stars if I could. Came in to see the place after moving here from out of State: It’s 10:30pm. Rude and nasty employees. Lady wouldn’t even spare 30 seconds of their time. Saying a prayer tonight this place gets shut down.
Saw some hiphop Jazz it was beautiful
Great place to hear good jazz music by top notch house band and invited players to share music with a friendly audience.
Cozy atmosphere. I would second the tip to eat prior to coming. They do have a good selection of drinks, brief snacking menu. I attended a story telling event here and it was well organized. Met repeat patrons, everyone seemed sweet and welcoming!
Had the worst experience
Great music place in midtown. They have sandwiches and chips but I'd recommend eating prior to coming. The music on jazz night was much more refined that I had imagined. The fold performing at extremely talented.aftwr awhile they invite up a lot of young musicians, seemingly mostly from local colleges. Even then the music is still very enjoyable.

Great place for small shows.
I love RLC…it’s a cozy venue. I hope they have more dance nights like Control!
Highly recommend the night, called Control
For Control, the music was great, but needed more dance floor space especially when trying to come and go since bodies would block the exit/entrance, which is a bit of a fire hazard.
A group of us went to see my friend Audrey Shakir sing! We had a great time. The band was fantastic!
