Had the most incredible experience at Red Rice Restaurant here in Atlanta. The food was amazing, but what made it unforgettable was meeting the owner — a fellow New Yorker with the most beautiful spirit. We instantly bonded over our shared roots, entrepreneurship, growth, and wanting more for ourselves.

She shared a bit of her journey with us — how COVID led her into the world of cooking, and how it became her passion. Watching her move through the restaurant laughing with customers, joking with her kids, and genuinely loving what she does was truly inspiring. The whole space feels like love, family, and purpose.

As a pescatarian, I was SO happy with the options — I enjoyed the salmon, fried shrimp, baked mac & cheese, garlic string beans, and of course their signature red rice (comes with every meal and is so good). And that’s just a small piece of the menu!

10/10 recommend. If you’re in the area, go. If you’re visiting Atlanta, make sure you stop by. You will not be disappointed. ❤️✨

Red rice food is Simply Amazing I tried the turkey wings and the oxtails and the shrimp platter when I ate there and the others I took home for later! They only have two tables as it's a small spot and usually do a lot of takeout but it is a must try

Me and my hubby did a weekend trip to ATL and visited this place based on a review from Mr. Chimetime. They did not disappoint. Food was delicious. We got grilled salmon, rice, string beans, blackeye peas, yams, mac and cheese and cornbread. We paid $30. They give large portions that we both had 2 servings and some leftover. Everything was good. My favorites were the blackeye peas, mac and cheese and salmon.

We was greeted cheerfully and stafff was happy to go over the menu. Service was great. The fish was well seasoned and fried crispy. All of the sides were tasty, flavorful and needed nothing added. One of the best soulful gems around.

Met the Owner & Head Chef of Red Rice when she catered a meal for Shine Through Me Inc. Her kindness, warmth and love was in EVERY bite of food she prepared. Collard Greens, Mac & Cheese, of course Red Rice, Turkey wings, Jerk Wings, Lamb Chops, Cornbread was ALL DELICIOUS!! I can't wait to have this soul food again. Thank you so much!

Horrible experience, when you know after you pay for your food and before you leave that it is going to be bad. I ordered the smoked wings with collards and black eye peas. The balck eye peas were too old to serve to anyone, mussy and stuck together which is probable why the young lady gave me so much. The smoked wings were just okay excluding the sweet sauce the young lady tried to bath them in with the red rice which was not a good combination. The greens were not homemade. Over priced Cafeteria food. I'm embarrassed to say how much I wasted.

Food looked good. However, the turkey wing and Macaroni n cheese lacked flavor and seasoning. I was shocked by that since it plated well. I'm from Florida and looked forward to trying this food. Apparently it was an off day!

I was finally able to make it to the restaurant from watching Mr. Chimetime's great video review and I was not disappointed! Food here was AMAZING! The Red Rice reminds me of Jellof Rice. The sides... DELICIOUS... cornbread... fantastic. The 1st day I bought the Turkey Meal. I came back the next day and got another turkey meal and got the jerk wing meal. Staff was very friendly and service was fantastic. Next time I'm in Atlanta I'll definitely be back!

First off the food was all covered up. The meat came out the back! You're supposed to order the food unseen! Just order of the menu then to add salt to the wound the boy had a attitude when i asked to see the food! Never seen nothing like it in my life and won't be back ever!
