I expected a lot at the main restaurant of food-oriented Epicurean. We decided to do a staycation and Valentines day dinner. The menu looked great so I was very excited. There were some highs and lows. Service was slow, and for a prixe fixed menu, I expected it would have been better organized. The Brioche was a disappointment. It tasted stale, like 2 days old. Did the valentine igloo experience. Cheap cheesy decorations. Feel short of a well crafted luxury experience. Food was good and portions great. Was expecting more of an elevated experience but I'm not sure if they know how to pull it off. Staff was nice and accommodating but they were fumbling over themselves. Need to visit lazy Betty or Atlas for some training when using experience as tag line.
I spent my 1st day of the new year at Reverence w family enjoying the igloo experience! We had such a good time, the food was delicious, their hot chocolate is amazing, & our server Bianka was kind & attentive. The igloo is so cute, it’s cozy w comfy seating, & a record player to listen to your own music. We definitely enjoyed ourselves!
