The sides that I got were better than 5 stars. The sweet potato soufflé = amazing. The black beans = well seasoned; better than I've had many places. The rotisserie chicken, I didn't enjoy as much. If you've ever had cooked chicken and didn't like the texture or taste, It was like that. Like it was cooked but could have used a bit more time and seasoning for more flavor. I'd prefer a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. But I'll be back for more sides and maybe their chicken strips. I think the strips will be good because they know how to season their food. So if they season their batter, yeah, I want that.

This was our family's first time eating here and I must say I was very nervous and skeptical cause not everybody can cook southern food but we were in the area and I was starving and craving southern food. We recieved our drinks and unfortunately the Sweet T was not given it was very watery. When we let our server know he said it was from morning shift and it was night time .I was even more nervous and almost ready to leave but when we recieved our food I was very satisfied and will be back for more.

I stopped by at this restaurant while I was waiting for my car to be fixed. Service was quick. I ordered the combo with 2 sides so I got the 1/4 dark chicken and bbq ribs, and for the sides I ordered the creamed spinach and Mac and cheese. My meal was good and the portions were the right size.

Atlanta staple with consistently good food. Basically a meat and two. Lots of choices on the menu. Take out as good. Roasted chicken is there go to. Turkey plate is really good with the stuffing.

Met my uncle here for lunch on Feb 7. We both became significantly ill GI wise that evening. We had a side of the mac n cheese in common. We had not seen each other for months prior and were fine before so minimal chance of other illness causing the GI symptoms. I reached out to the restaurant to discuss let them know in private but never received a response.

Food ok not the best or worsted. I guess sandy springs is all white, when I walk into this place. It’s all one race of people eating then more Mexican working as staff. Only two races and blacks go in and out I did see any other race may have been some tuck off in the corners. The plate I got not worth the money. But I see who the food is cater too.

I forgot how good this place is. The food was excellent and Pepe was a great waiter. And the prices in today’s market are very reasonable. Need to come here more.

Came here for lunch the other day as I have for many years. The food was just as good, but the service has gone severely downhill. Had to ask for service from three other servers since my waitress disappeared most of the time. And, on top of that, they've started charging 50 cents per cornbread/dinner roll which used to be complementary. I can buy a box of Jiffy cornbread mix for just over a dollar that makes 6! Maybe there's a new owner? Whatever the case, I sadly won't be patronizing anymore.
