Rock Steady Atlanta proved to be a delightful find during my recent visit to Atlanta. The warm welcome, top-tier ambiance, and exceptional service from the bar staff set the stage for a memorable evening. While I didn't have the chance to sample the food, the drinks were top-notch, earning an easy recommendation for anyone seeking a premium nightlife experience in Atlanta.

Girls trip to ATL was full of events till it came to dinner reservation. I made reservation for 900pm and my party and I weren't seated till 945pm. Despite asking the host who was being extremely rude!!! CIARA was a wonderful hostess. She welcomed my party and I with open arms and kept checking up on is repeatedly throughout the time we spent at the restaurant.

Phenomenal food, great portions, great drinks, and one of the best playlists I’ve heard over dinner in years. Would love to visit every time I come back to Atlanta. Best meal I had by far, and the wings and oxtail were knockout.

Tuesdays- Amapiano night was FIIIIYYAAAAA! The music was lit and when the DJ says it's an ancestral thing that drove me wild in a good way! I was dancing all night. This place is amazing. Always. The food is insane it's so good. Made with love...they made my dish vegan for me and that will keep me coming back!Everything about Rock Steady is a win. The bartender even made me a customized mocktail! Brought my friends from out of town here and they LOVED it. It was even star-studded one day. Akon was celebrating his birthday & Keke Palmer, Teyana Taylor and Jazzy Pha were all in this building. Me and my date had a BLAST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Vegetarian options: You can get tostones or the curry dish made vegan. There might be more as well, but that's what I got.Parking: You can park on the sidestreets or opt for the paid lot across the street.

Went here last weekend just as a new place to try with my friend. Easy to locate. Paid Lot parking across the street.Greeted and Seated immediately.  Idk until afterwards that they had a rooftop and music upstairs.  We only came for the food. I loved the ambience- decor and lighting.   A great place for a date. Our server Vaughn was nice and prompt.  Menu is limited and prices are kind of steep but to be expected for atlanta.  My friend got the beef patties for an appetizers.  They were 3 small empanada shaped patties with sauce.  The restaurant is a caribbean / afro cuisine.   I didn't care for the beef patties.  I ordered the jerk chicken meal with plantains, jollof rice and collard greens.  My friend ordered the lamb chop entree.  Food came promptly and was at the right temperature.   Great presentation.  The food was delicious.   And generous portions.  The jerk wasn't spicy at all but the entire meal was flavorful.  I didn't see anything on the dessert menu that caught my eye.  I tried some of the lamb chop - kind of tough but a nice glaze.  My meal was $30 and there's an automatic  20% gratuity.  They don't accept cashOverall,  I'd return!

My husband's 30th birthday celebration at Rock steady turned into a nightmare due to the abysmal service we received. Despite clear instructions during reservation and at the restaurant for a request for a midnight celebration, we were ignored and left disappointed. Our waitress failed to fulfill our simple request for a dessert surprise, despite witnessing her distribute cakes to nearby tables. When questioned about it, she claimed that hosts never told her about the request, leaving us feeling neglected and unimportant. I got a sense of discrimination. Moreover, errors in our bill, including an unexplained beef patty charge, and an unjustified 20% gratuity added to a party of two, further added to our frustration. Attempts to address these issues were met with rudeness from both the hosts. The presence of two hosts proved futile as they failed to coordinate basic tasks, leaving us wondering about the purpose of their roles. Our disappointment stems not from the lack of grand gestures, but from the disregard for our simple request to make my husband's milestone birthday memorable.Despite these grievances, I must acknowledge the restaurant's positive aspects. The ambiance, fueled by great music, and the quality of the food were commendable. In conclusion, while this may boast high ratings for its cuisine, its reputation is marred by atrocious service. Our experience was a stark reminder that exceptional food alone cannot compensate for the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism.Reservation details: 11:15 pm 04/20/2024

We had the lamb chop rolls and the janga dip with wonton chips. Very unique and taste so good, I've never had anything like it. The stepper is what I had for a drink. It had tequila with a guava watermelon flavor and a taijn rim. Pure excellence. Upstairs the vibe was on point. I've been to a lot of places but this one tops the list. Be sure to make a reservation before you go. It's hard to get in if you don't have it. The bar is open seating but having a reservation is the best option.

I’ve been here a couple of times. It’s a nice place to bring an out of towner. The evenings are a lively, good mix of men & women, couples and people celebrating occasions. There’s usually a Dj playing reggae, and older RnB/hip-hop that’s not too loud. You can hear your conversation.Upstairs is a party or maybe people are just standing around. It just depends on which night. Hit or miss.I do not recommend the brunch. The dinner menu is better. Unfortunately, the food has never been hot, just warm.Parking: I usually pay for parking on the street or in the parking garage down the street.Kid-friendliness: Not a place for kids.

Service and atmosphere was on point and the drinks were very good. I had the oxtail pasta and was disappointed. There was hardly any oxtail in the pasta. As if they put one piece in there and shredded it. I know oxtail is expensive but come on.

The food is pretty good. Wish they had a few more dishes to choose from, maybe more Haitian options. It's 20 dollars to park and they don't accept cash.
