With so many choices in the City of Atlanta, this place would be ok with the removal of all these checkpoints, and that will lower their overhead cost on staffing.
The food portion is ridiculously small and way too expensive. Cocktails aren't impressive at all either, but then again, it could be the bartenders fault.
Nice ambiance and location, but as I said with so many option in and around Atlanta, this place need to step up their game.
A year later and this place is now going out of business. Reviews matters. Listen to your customers' advice. There were so many warnings inside the comments.
Dear Sheena Garrett at the bottom review, please scroll peeps! I just want to let you know that the owner is also black just like you. What's with the hashtag theydontlikeus?

Horrible experience over all. Had reservations once me and my party arrived there was only one person out of 5 people missing I was told they could not seat us until the 5th person arrived understandable. Once the full party showed up, the host proceeded to take us outside. It was about 95° out. We never asked to sit outside she just immediately directed us to be seated outside. I noticed that all of the Black people were sitting outside. And only caucasian ppl were sitting inside. I asked her why are you sitting us outside? We never asked to sit outside. It’s too hot to be sitting outside and she said I can see if we can sit you inside mind you there was barely anyone sitting inside and the people that were sitting inside were all Caucasian. Once we were seated it took about 20 minutes just for someone to come and asked if we needed anything to drink or eat. There was a gentleman I believe he was the floor manager or supervisor I noticed he went around to every table and made sure everybody was having a great dining experience, but he never came over to our table mind you all the other tables Were filled with white people, and we were the only black sitting inside of the restaurant. Don’t know if this was a coincidence or there’s something else going on at this location, but this is not the first time I’ve heard something like this for this location so this was my first and will be my last time dining here.

Disappointing they no longer have day passes especially for travelers
The views were spectacular, beautiful city view. Unfortunately our food arrived before the drinks, took an 1 hour & 15 mns for the drinks to make it our table. Servers seemed overwhelmed & perhaps not fully trained for a busy sunday brunch.
Manager was nice at the end, was too late.
Highly recommend for pictures & city view
To shut out the general public is not right. They need to shut down LOA and let someone else put something else there that all people can enjoy #theynotlikeus #theydontlikeus

They want you to be a member which you get approved or denied . Like why do we allow that to be a thing ? Last year everybody could get in just paid for a daily pass.

Food was okay but small portions and very overpriced plus staff could be friendlier. The terrace view from the restaurant is not worth it either. Drinks by the pool were ok, the view is definitely nice from there but again overpriced plus it's self-service. Nobody came to ask us if we wanted to order anything although staff passed us by multiple times.

The only "good" thing about L.O.A. Social Club (formerly known as Rooftop LOA) is that view... and that's only if you don't know good from great. This place has always stunk of pretentiousness, poor service, mediocre food and overpriced everything. Now that it is trying to rebrand itself as a knock-off SoHo House and shut out the general public that made it, I can only see it going down hill even more. Hope those handful of uppity people they're working so hard to cater to is enough to keep them in business. Doubt this will work in their favor and I wouldn't even want to go back at this point. What a waste!

Beautiful view of the city. Nice ambiance. Each time I’ve visited it was pretty empty. The owner and team seemed nice. However, they appear to be looking for a specific type to join their members-only society. I wish them well in their endeavors.
