Gluten free pizza is put on the same racks as gluten pizza. If you have an severe allergy you may want to avoid. Atmosphere is like a NYC joint. Gluten Pizza slices are HUGE. The specials are reasonable and a good bang for your buck.Kid-friendliness: Yes

I visited this restaurant a couple of days ago with someone for lunch. The environment was filthy, roaches are visible and running all over the bread and other areas. As if that were not enough, a big roach crawled into the box of the person that I was with while we were eating. We asked the owner to come and see it, he smashed it with his hand and said it was not a big deal. He kept repeating that so that at we would not discuss it in front of other customers. We demanded our money back and will never return again. Eat at your own risk. By the way, he never washed his hands and went back to checking out customers and handling their food. I ate against my better judgment that day after viewing the conditions of the environment while waiting on my food and boy did I pay a price for it. At first I was unsure if I saw a big roach near the bread bag, but I was certain after my experience. I saw a smaller one in another area by the food. Yet, I attempted to eat anyway. I was mad with myself for forcing the issue as opposed to asking for a refund before we had the horrible experience. Roaches are not permissible anywhere, especially in restaurants! How dare he down play that experience.

This place is a traditional hole-in-the wall New York style pizza joint. It's cozy and tight like a shotgun shack and kinda grimy, but very popular as a cheap lunch spot. The pre-made slices are good though not particularly exciting, but Stromboli/sausage roll and calzones are amazing. Only a few seats are available in the shop but there are plenty more in the basement down the stairs in the back.
