Had an early flight into Atlanta and was searching for a breakfast spot. Found Rosies. Nice option. Plenty of parking. Service was good. Opted for Shrimp and Grits. Not a bad selection, although grits were more runny or loose that I expected. Shrimp were very tasty.
Driving up to Rosie’s is pretty difficult. When you think you’ve reached the lot, it’s valet only. Parking is to the right as you’re facing the building. Vibe/energy is great! Very calming decor with great wait staff. Being a coffee guy, the drip coffee was mediocre. I ordered the specialty pancake platter with banana nut pancakes. Eggs and grits were good however the pancakes were too dry to eat (without using water to swallow) and turkey sausage over cooked/dry. I REALLY...
Solid breakfast and would visit again. Fried fish & chicken wings were flavorful. The French toast was meh, home cook quality. Overall meal value per dollar, 3.5/5. By the way they charge a 3% card fee. Nice little surprise when I got my receipt. I paid tableside. Shame on me though, I should know by now to ask for an itemized receipt to inspect every charge before paying. Atlanta loves it's fees & upcharges 🙃
