Our server was very nice and helpful with recommendations. She had a pleasant personality and she was knowledgeable about the wines & food. The atmosphere was descent. The table had a sticky surface but it was otherwise fine. My biggest issue was the price point for lunch. We had an appetizer of smoked wings. They had the dry rub, which for me was a bit on the salty side. I was honestly expecting a smoked flavor. That was not the case. Secondly, the price point on the salads is ridiculous. For instance paying $31 for an Asian Chopped salad with grilled shrimp is way too much. I could go to Marlow's Tavern and get an Asian Soy Miso salad with grilled or blackened shrimp for $19 (equally as delicious, if not better). This was my first time dining at the Rowdy Tiger and probably my last. I truly believe you need to revisit your prices and judging from how empty your restaurant was, others must agree. There were 4 tables filled that day. Again, the server was great. Not thrilled with everything else though.

We were not fans of the menu change. The brunch buffet is an interesting touch but could use more variety.

Food was solid, the portions were light for the price, but the quality was fine. Took forever to get food, this is not a stop in for a lunch place, this is a sit and socialize location so be aware of that. Wish our server was more attentive for the few amount of people in the restaurant. Not enough alcohol selections.

Came in around 7PM on a Saturday, not crowded at all. Took 45 minutes to get our drinks. Server literally left them on the bar we could see them there and finally one of us just went up to the bar to get them. Wings were garbage. Do not recommend.

Short version: Nice decor and location, food was decent but overpriced. Service was extremely slow and abominable! Sweet girl we had waiting on us was trying but seemed very out of her depth. The bartenders, and others on floor couldn't care less and made it very clear. The two other tables in this empty restaurant clearly shared the same disappointment. $300 bill, hour wait for food, indifferent employees. Full explanation: Practically empty, waited several minutes to be seated, very long time to be greeted. We ordered everything at once right away ( drinks, apps, food) It still took well over 15 mins to get our drinks and they were incorrect, got appetizer fairly quickly and it was good. Not checked on again until they came back with the one corrected drink much later. It had now been about 40 mins since we ordered. We flagged down waitress and asked when the food would be out cause we really needed to get going, she checked with kitchen and said 15 more mins... that's when we were like ok we'll we can't wait that long please bring check... THEN the manager ( I think ) who had been casually walking around the whole time came over and assured us it would all be out in 5. We agreed, asked for check to expedite, food came. It was pretty decent but overpriced for sure. Then we had to nag a bit to get the check and get out. All in all a shame, location was good, decor nice, food pretty good a bit expensive but if the service had been good could have probably got away with it. The girl waiting on us was sweet and seemed like she was trying but just didn't seem to know what she was doing... ( didn't know basic drinks, timid, etc... ) seemed like she was the hostess that was trying to help by taking tables. But honestly we all work in service and it was clear she was the only one trying. The place was empty and there were 5 ppl on the floor and all the others entire attitude was that they couldn't be bothered... in the SLIGHTEST.

⭐⭐⭐ 3 stars – Rowdy name, polite service, chewy shrimp, and hair that shines brighter than the eggs.

Dinner service? Fantastic. The staff was friendly and the vibe says, “We are absolutely not your average hotel restaurant.” And you know what? They almost pulled it off—until the shrimp showed up.

The shrimp and grits looked amazing. Unfortunately, the shrimp were overcooked to the point of existential crisis. I tried chewing, but they bit back. The grits, however? Lovely. Purple and creamy like Prince and Paula Deen had a culinary baby.

Now breakfast… whew. That was a different flavor journey. The food was hot and oily—real oily—like it came with a side of 10W-30. Grease was glistening in solidarity with the white male server’s dirty hair. I couldn’t tell if he was about to bring me coffee or audition for a role in Grease: The Musical (Cafeteria Edition).

Still, the ambiance was upscale, the booths were comfy, and the place wants to be a neighborhood gem despite being inside a hotel. And honestly, I respect the hustle.

Was waiting for my breakfast then I get told they can't make it. They offered me something else, but I couldn't wait as I had to be somewhere by its (950am) no thank you.

My first penicillin in years, very good. Slightly less strong than I’d have liked (too much ice), but as a favorite drink of mine I can’t complain

Food is pretty solid, but service is very very slow

Not so crowded on a Saturday morning maybe 25% full. Slow 25 minutes to get pancakes.

This is being enclosed up stairs.

My group chose this restaurant because of the whiskey selection. We were excited for a whiskey-forward experience: unique cocktails, whiskey flights, whiskey-inspired food. What a disappointment. There were basic cocktails (old fashioned, manhattan), no flights or tastings, and a limited food menu. And, despite there being few diners and what appeared to be a full staff, our service was painfully slow. Missed opportunity on their part to capitalize on the theme.
