I visit this place for lunch a lot, and while I love the food, I can’t stand the atmosphere. With that being said, I have stopped eating here recently due to what I’m going to describe below. But first, the food. Each taco is about $4 - $6, and the tacos are good. I always get the Birria taco, Consomé, and elote. I can honestly say I’ve never had better elote anywhere! The other items get a little pricey, but there are a lot of shareables, great cocktails, and often the establishment is decorated around holidays (their Halloween decorations are awesome!). Ok, now for the reason I stopped going. It is always loud inside, even at lunch time. Most times it’s too loud to talk. The service is always horrible. You wait forever for your food, forever for a server to come by, and drinks are never refilled. This inside is small and it’s hard to move between tables. It doesn’t feel cozy, it feels crunched. The worst part - the app that you use at the table to scan for the menu (it’s all contactless) and then use to pay. The app is complete trash. Since it’s a common frequent for us bunch of coworkers, we’re always paying individually, which sounds like a great reason to use the table side app, right? WRONG! The app can’t do basic math and it never splits the bill properly. It shouldn’t be hard since the bill is an itemized list, but every time it says we didn’t pay for items that we did indeed pay for. I can’t tell if the restaurant is running a scam or their app really is just that bad. My advice would be to not use the app, pay the server in one bill (if you can track a person down), and figure the rest out later. Reasons to visit: great tacos and cocktails. Reasons to stay away: consistent poor service and stressful vibes.

The food was really good, and the service was good too, but it could've been a little bit better. I put in the reservation notes that it was my boyfriend's birthday, and I even called ahead to make sure they would do whatever they normally do for birthdays. Someone confirmed it, but when we got there nothing happened and it wasn't acknowledged at all. It was disappointing after making sure everything was arranged. Other than that, the food itself was great.

The Christmas vibes are off the chart along with the ramen. They were packed, so service was a little slow, but that's to be expected this time of year. It was super fun and all the food was excellent. If you want to get in the Christmas spirit, this place is where it's at.

Rreal Tacos in Midtown was reasonably priced and the food was good. Service was excellent. This was my first time eating there on my birthday. The staff sang to me and gave me a slice of cake. The staff also took my picture and gave me the photo in a frame.

they deserve your business for the reason alone that they’re open past 9 on week days. but on top of that, they have the best halloween decorations i’ve seen in a restaurant, the food and hot sauces were really good, and the apple pay scanning to pay was super convenient and quick to leave whenever we want.

I went for a friend's birthday on Saturday. We had a 8:00 reservation for 13 people. We didn't get seated until sometime after 10:00 only reason we stay was because she really wanted to celebrate her birthday their. I personally would have left and went somewhere else. They kept seating other parties of 4 and 5 people in front of us. We even told them to break the group up at some point. We were not happy at all.🤨

Overall the food at this location was excellent. However our waiter Pedro had a lack of empathy for our needs. He never really talked to us, forgot the drinks before the main course, and forgot to get our to do order on time.
