RUCHI is on the list of restaurants to dine for our family trip to Atlanta after I found this restaurant three years ago.

Our family made a trip to Atlanta after Christmas. We agreed that we definitely had to have dinner before being back home. Per its website's notification, this location will close on January 1st, 2025 until further notice due to the relocation.

When we went there on Sunday Dec 29th., we were told that was the last day for this location. We were so fortunate to dine there because we had no idea it was the last day to close its door.

I ordered Chicken Vindaloo by mistake. A level of heat can be added for those who love spiciness. So I asked for medium because original is already spicy. It was perfect heat and delicious! I was so glad that I found another dish other than Butter Chicken, Jalfrezi or Dhansak!! Not disappointing at all.👍

My husband had his Chicken Dhansak. He loved his! We also got regular Nann bread to share on the side. Taste was excellent!

Nothing changes from our first visit years ago to this visit. Customer service is EXCELLENT comparing to other typical Indian restaurants. They actively engaged with customers. Price is reasonable and taste is awesome. Great overall experience🙂

Hope RUCHI reopen soon!. Looking forward to visiting new location!

We were craving for some indian food and had to do some quick search around the area and this restaurant came up. I made a quick google reservation and wow we are so glad to find this place. Every single food/drink item that they brought out was just amazingly fresh, delicious and spot on. Nothing was too sweet or salty. We ordered Chicken vindaloo (I made extra hot but just spice should be great for many), Lamb curry, onion pakora. As if they read my taste palette, the food was just perfect. And their service was just amazing every step of the way! One drag is they are going to move to another location next week so they will be closed for a few months. We can't wait to go back to this place!

I was sad to hear that Ruchi would be relocating because we’ve been coming here over the years and have experienced some of the best cuisine that the area has to offer. So much so that we drive from Gwinnett county just to indulge in a Bangladesh cuisine. They have some of the best naan, chicken, tiki masala and seafood dishes. Hasan has been helping us out for years and when we come in, we don’t even have to place an order. He already knows what we want.

Familiar place with nice service. The bartender gave us a lot of details about the food and suggested us based on our preferences. We will surely repeat.

We especially enjoyed the chicken tondoori! The combination of crispy skin, paired with the sweetness of grilled onions and the charcoal flavor from being oven-fired made for one memorable culinary experience. I also highly recommend the garlic naan.

This is a purely Bangladeshi perspective review. We heard many good things and came after a friend recommended. Not sure if there has been any ownership or chef changes, but we did not like anything that was served. We ordered the shrimp puri, shorshe ilish, and handi goat.
Shrimp puri - average taste, not at all spicy or appetizing.
Shorshe ilish - so first off there are many irregularities with their menu description and what was actually served. Since we are actually Bangladeshi we know the difference. Shorshe means mustard. This was not mustard ilish. It was ilish dopiaja type. Nonetheless, the ilish was of very poor quality, dry, no oil.
Handi goat - I ordered this thinking it was some special kind of dish. Again disappointing, lack of flavor, doubt if it was actually goat or maybe lamb.
Overall if you are Bangladeshi please do not come to waste ur money. Non Bengalis knock yourselves out, you'll probably like the food and everything else..

My food was great. I picked the mildly spicy everything and it was just right.

The service was outstanding. The guy was very attentive, periodically checking in with us to see if we needed anything.

We had a takeout order of Shingaarar Chaat, Chicken Tikka, and Goat Pathia. Every dish was super fresh and delicious! It was my first time trying Bangladeshi food and I absolutely love it! Great customer service as well! I'll definitely be back for more!
