It's interesting. I can see how this place can have a very polarizing opinion on it. It's cute , small and homely. The servers are super nice and friendly. They guide you through the menu elaborately if you ask for it. Parking is limited although they have their own deck. We went for dinner on an impromptu week night and no reservations were required for a table for two. However the tables are limited so larger parties may need to book in advance. As for the food, being South Asian and from West Bengal, I expected the quality to be top notch and higher. Although it didn't disappoint in some dishes , the fish which is a staple in bengal, was not up to the mark. So, I got the pomfret grilled and lamb kabab for starters. The lamb was over cooked and over flavored in my opinion. The fish lacked flavors and was too fishy . I don't know maybe it was what I got. My husband really enjoyed his butter chicken tikka masala and it was actually good. I might give it another shot.

We have recently enjoyed a couple of meals at Ruchi and we have absolutely loved the food. We have gone on recommendations of the staff and have not been disappointed by anything that we have tried. The service is friendly, helpful, and attentive and all our many questions were helpfully answered. The interior is small, seating maybe 40 people, but it's comfortable and not crowded. From the outside it looks nothing special, but it's definitely worth the trip inside.

Coworker and I came here for lunch. Nice hole in the wall place. The food was amazing. Had the tiki masala. Told them medium spice, but the sweetness cut right through the spice. Their garlic naan was savory. Will come back here to try their other dishes!

We started going here with a COVID pick up a few years ago.My god, this place is how I wish every restaurant was like: Fantastic service, great food, and a fun mid-century atmosphere.Every time we go, we pick different dishes and have not been disappointed once. Our only mainstay is the Chicken-65. While I prefer the 65 at Zyka, this is an excellent second option, and more convenient for us.Typically, my wife will get a veggie option and I’ll get something with meat. Not once have we found flavor lacking and found we’d happily swap dishes. You just can’t go wrong with options here!Okay, maybe you can. The one thing to be wary of is level of spiceness. Hot is hot and medium is medium. If you have any concerns, talk to the staff. They will guide you in the right direction! I once ignored my waiter’s recommendation and paid the price!Ultimately, this is a fantastic restaurant with good quality food and a staff that you’re unlikely to encounter anywhere else.

Decided to try something different and get the Chicken Dhansak. It was Phenomenal! It's a must try. Definitely going to explore the menu more here. The classics like Tikka and butter chicken are great here too. But now I really want to explore the menu. For takeout around here, this is unmatched.

Absolutely a must try. Everything we had was so delicious. The starter pappors were so light and crisp, cheese and peshwari Naan were perfect, and the mixed tondoori was out of this world. The chicken was so moist, and the lamb was so flavorful. Cannot wait to come back.

Service was exceptional, food was fairly priced, food was delicious and came out quickly. Ordered the mixed tandoori and it came out in a sizzling cast iron, had multiple meat types and everything was cooked well. Also ordered the chicken Tikka and it was flavorful and cooked well. Lastly, ordered the garlic naan not in my picture but was probably the best item I ordered, highly recommended!
