Imagine walking into this place on a very hot sunny day, only to be half greeted by the staff, & them not having the AC working ( they did have the ceiling fans on). My friend & I decided to sit at the bar, & the bartender was unpleasant, unprofessional & had a weird disposition about himself. We had to ask for water twice, & he never came back after making our drinks to check on us or ask if we wanted to order food. However he chose to walk to the front of the restaurant (which is quite small) & start eating (smh). So I can’t even rate the food bc I didn’t get a chance to even be asked what we wanted to eat. We even had to ask another person for our ticket when it was time to leave.
As far as the drinks, I would say they are extremely overpriced. I ordered a glass of rosè which was $15 & it was a very small pour. Overall, I did not like this place & would. It recommend based on my experience. I feel everyone should receive equal & fair treatment especially when we are all paying our hard earned money; regardless of the way you look.
Smh do better salaryman, teach your staff how to be professional at all times. I added pics of the male, who was up front eating ( not sure if u can see it clear and the pic of my wine).

We have had dinner here twice and both times were great! We love the cocktails, so buns, tuna, pizza and more. We had great service and enjoyed the vibe.

Restaurants fail when you have inconsistent guest experience due to an untrained, uncaring staff and no owner or manager who cares. I had a somewhat positive experience the first time I visited this restaurant and a profoundly negative one tonight. The food is a little better than the service, but not much. The server was too inexperienced to be on the floor alone with no manager or anyone else who cared enough to help. I will not go back for a third visit after this experience.

When fusion food is good - its really good. This is a great example of that. Awesome service, incredible tuna tartare starter, good salad!

We originally headed to Toco Hills to dine at another restaurant, but a power outage changed our plans. After scanning the plaza, we stumbled upon Salaryman—and we're so glad we did. One look at the online menu and we were intrigued enough to give it a try. It did not disappoint.
From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent across the board. The service was friendly, we were seated promptly, and the menu offered a great variety of options.
We kicked things off with the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken Wings and Kimchi Fried Rice—both full of flavor and the perfect start to what turned out to be an outstanding meal. For our entrees, we had the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap and the Beef Garlic Noodles, each dish satisfying and well-prepared.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Salaryman was an unexpected find, but it’s definitely earned a spot on our favorites list!

After dining in and getting take out from here, I can definitely say this is a fantastic restaurant. The food is cooked with such care and the staff here is so professional. This place is definitely awesome. Absolutely recommend!

Ugh. Didn’t enjoy this one. Server was efficient, but really made us uncomfortable. One word commands with zero engagement. Made us feel unwelcome; it was much more than simply not engaging. I guess we simply were not “cool” enough to extend hospitality to during our visit.
Food was hit or miss.
Appetizer Tuna Tartare was good. Burgers were great. Garlic noodles were inedible - simply oil and fatty meat. Caesar salad was eh.
$150 for four is pricey based on smaller portions and not dynamic service.

This restaurant is not cheap for one thing, but I visited because there is variety of food options to choose from!
I got the Salaryman Wagyu Burger because I wanted to try Wagyu beef (even if it wasn’t). It states that the burger should be cooked at medium but I got medium-well. Know that I have never eaten a burger that wasn’t well done prior to this moment. And it was cooked perfect, firm enough on the outside but still soft and juicy on the inside. I couldn’t quite determine the exact flavors I was experiencing but it was a perfect blend of sweet and salty. If you want to know the exact ingredients, check out the menu.
My friend got the Tonkotsu ramen (allergens and particular about food). It looks delicious but had a fatty taste because of the pork belly. The meat is cooked well but enough of the fat made the broth greasy. The bamboo, ramen, and other veggie tasted pretty good!
We went to the restaurant later at night. Meaning less customers but I will say that the staff was still on top of giving quality service. They were both considerate and answered the many questions I had.
I would also like to mention that vibes were immaculate. I think it may have been a random 80s playlist but it paired well with the general aesthetic of the restaurant!

Maybe our expectations were too high but our dining experience did not hit the mark. Definitely agree with other reviewers noting that the asian elements (Japanese/Korean) were lacking. We had the korean fried chicken (3/5, a bit too saucy) and beef garlic noodles (1/5, way too oily and was not tasty). The dishes just seemed to lack balance - they went overboard with the sauces/oils to the point where the flavors lost their punchiness. Our server was a bit awkward but maybe just needed more experience to be more comfortable. The vibe was comfortable at least. Maybe it wasn’t for us, but we wouldn’t come back based on today’s visit.

Normally I’m a bit skeptical of places that serve very different styles of food, but I’m glad we ordered from here. Staff were really helpful in adding dessert to my delivery order that I forgot to add on initial order. Pistachio cake was amazing and the mushroom bowl and pizzas were good. We’ll order from here again.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at this Korean fusion restaurant, but I ended up really liking it! They have a really interesting mix of Korean and American food that I think works well! Definitely worth trying out if you’re in the Toco Hills area.

American Japanese Korean fusion, but I am
missing some key Korean/Japanese keystones!
Great import beer and sake selection. If you like sake they have so many types! But no Umeshu.
I got bibimbap because I needed veggies. Tonkatsu ramen was pretty good (but not as good as a pure ramen place.)
Went back to try their Korean friend chicken pizza! It looked and tasted amazing with fresh Korean pickles on top. Very sweet sauce used. Very thin crust, this is prob their most unique specialty in the menu. Bulgogi pizza also good, but the chicken pizza was better.
But no japchae on the whole menu so that was disappointing.
Waiter was chill and place has good vibes. Might be a new favorite spot because the combo of food selections and drinks.

I went for happy hour with a friend. It was a perfect place to catch up with an old friend. The food is really good and the service was excellent.
Food sucked. Insanely overpriced! I went maybe a year ago and it was great but last time I went the food was insanely salty
