Normally we have great experiences coming here weekly. Unfortunately our bad time as come and that was today, 11-12-22. Husband ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, mom ordered over easy eggs. Husbands scrambled with cheese weren’t cooked completely through. My moms over easy eggs still had the white booger stuff from not being cooked all the way. Over easy eggs, whites suppose to be cooked while yolk is runny, not white runny with yolk. They didn’t even get their toast till half way through their meal. I Understand short staffing may be a problem but the food should still be cooked all the way. Somebody could have gotten sick off those not cooked eggs. Took hubs and moms eggs back, hubs same eggs came back rubbery and we never got moms. Never had an issue with rudeness here either until today. I mean I’m no professional chef but I know an uncooked egg when I see the runny white mixing with the runny yolk. complete sadness for sally maes today. Boss man and boss woman must be on vaca or something cuz restaurant has never been like this. we will wait few months before going back, if we do

My wife and I were traveling from Savannah to Knoxville and looking for a down-home country meal. Well we certainly found it Sally Mae’s is just like grandma’s. They had everything from smoked pork chops to cheeseburgers, two kinds of fish and plenty of side dishes like Brunswick stew. Also several different kinds of ice cream. And the folks that worked there were so very nice. Of course the local law-enforcement was eating there as well which is always a really good sign. So if you’re ever in Nevil Georgia off of Highway 16 stop in and get some good eats. Blessings bill & leslie

Imagine placing an order or dining in only to realize that the last repast you attended had much better food. This is the only and best way to get you to understand why you should just turn around now and never look back. This was absolutely horrible....all of it... turkey stiff wings, hardbread, mushy mush Lima beans, elbow noddles with cheese sauce, under cooked peppercorn collards.. Restaurant business is not designed for everyone.

Great dinner with the family on Saturday evening. Food was delivered fast and it was tasty. We had barbecue, smoked chicken and catfish filets. A diverse offering for the 3 of us. Make sure you get a take home pack of the tasty corn muffins.

The food was waayyyy to salty. The establishment was clean. The lady taking orders who also works at Walmart was not FRIENDLY to anyone. I will try again and provide an update.
The food and service were great tonight. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. Hamburgers juicy and tasty. Chicken fingers excellent. And the ice cream, we’ll absolutely perfect. Thank you!!!!

We found this place by accident on a Saturday afternoon drive. The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing! Nothing fancy just a great place to go for a very casual meal. We'll be stopping in again soon
