My food was HORRIBLE and tasted very old. The grease was leaking from my fish, the fries were soggy and the overall experience was terrible.

I’ve been a frequent customer at Sandtown Pub for years and used to come multiple times a week. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a huge disappointment. As a business owner myself, I understand that staff are a reflection of the owner’s vision — and yesterday, that vision wasn’t present at all.

The bartender had an attitude from the moment I walked in, and it felt like serving customers was an inconvenience to her. The service was slow, unwelcoming, and completely lacking the hospitality I once loved about this place. To make matters worse, the food I ordered ended up making me sick later that night. Cat fish sandwich took me out !!

It’s frustrating to see a place with potential and history fall off like this. I hope management takes a serious look at who’s representing their brand — because this experience has me questioning if I’ll ever return.

Update: no apology or nothing just a thank you😂 yea I see why this place is going downhill definitely want be back!!

Stopped here for lunch and ordered the wings and fries. I won’t ever do that again. Wings were very overcooked and salty (too much lemon pepper on some pieces and not enough on others.) The fries appeared to be cooked in old grease. Waste of time and money.

So my waitress was Kayla, she was an outstanding waitress. She’s highly knowledgeable about the menu, communicates effectively, and provides excellent customer service. Her attention to detail really enhanced the dining experience.

Welp! I guess I’ll do like the other patrons and go else where. $21.05 for one Don Julio is unreal. The crew is cool, but the price and quality don’t match. I only come here cause the former patrons and it’s close to home. These prices make me not want to return.

I recently went to Sandtown Pub on 1/13/25, service was great and my chicken Philly was perfect. Fast forward to today, 1/24/25 the service and food was TERRIBLE! I placed a to go order online at 6:28pm with the promise that the order would be ready at 6:58pm. I arrive at the restaurant and my order was not ready, the lady at the counter had just arrived so she wasn’t sure about my order and why it wasn’t ready. At this time I place the order inside, paid, and now in the waiting phase ONCE AGAIN. Finally, the order is ready, however the lady at the counter was rude and didn’t even bother to say sorry for the inconvenience or anything of that nature. Once I arrive home, the fish platter that I ordered is literally SOAKING IN GREASE! It seems as if they took it out the fryer and slapped it right into the box. I will not be coming back, and I encourage others to watch how you spend your money at this establishment if you did continue to go!

The server was very slow, my food was over cooked and cold and they refused to make any adjustments to the bill.
But, after several times of going back to the kitchen, the server came back and said that they were not charging me for the food.

I called in an order at 12, and the server said it would take 5-10 minutes, which seemed odd since fresh wings typically take longer. I gave a grace period and arrived at 12:15, but it took a while for me to be acknowledged. They tried to make me pay for a meal I hadn't received, and I told the server I'd pay once I saw the wings. She had an attitude but agreed. After waiting 25 more minutes with no order, I left. It wasn’t busy, so it shouldn’t have taken that long.
