I love this place. However, every time I order for my job, my order is always wrong. Please pay attention to what is on the ticket

Sign of the time I guess, but this location has gone downhill. Price is up and quality is down. I had beef & shrimp on soba noodles. The beef had several pieces of gristle & the shrimp were portioned off a tray on the back of the plancha where I’m pretty sure they were not being held at a food-safe temperature so I just pushed them aside. Also I had not one piece of broccoli crown among the veggies, just bit’s of stem but mostly cabbage & carrots. I had the other two in our party check their dishes and they only found two or three small bits of broccoli crown. After 30+ years I doubt I’ll be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Amazing Experience Every Time

Sarku Japan at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody has easily become one of my go-to spots whenever I’m in the area. Every single time I stop by, they deliver the same consistent quality, flavor, and service that keeps me coming back. The line can look long during peak hours, but it always moves fast because the team back there works like a machine — organized, quick, and professional. You can tell they know what they’re doing.

The food is always hot, fresh, and cooked right in front of you, which I love. Their chicken teriyaki is honestly unmatched — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and never dry. The way they grill it and glaze it right at the end makes it taste way better than any other mall spot doing hibachi-style meals. The veggies always have the right crunch, the fried rice is flavorful without being greasy, and the portions are HUGE. You really get your money’s worth every time.

Another thing I respect about this location is the customer service. The workers always keep the area clean, they move with speed, and they don’t act annoyed when you ask for anything extra. They stay friendly even when the food court is packed. You can tell they take pride in their spot.

If you’re at Perimeter Mall and want something filling, flavorful, and fresh, Sarku Japan is absolutely the place to stop. Whether you’re just grabbing lunch, taking a break from shopping, or you’re someone who likes reliable good food every time — this location never disappoints. Highly recommend it.

Food is always good. It’s the potion size for my review. If I pay for double chicken and they give me the same amount as a regular order I would think that is a problem. I waited for 10 minutes for the chicken to be done grilling too so it’s not like they only had that one scoop left. Price goes up but the food quantity always goes down it seems.

Workers on their phones, sitting around talking instead of making orders. Highly wouldn’t recommend!

I wanted to give 5 ⭐️ cause food is good but I had to give 2 because I watched the girl whose giving the free samples in front of the store, she was wearing gloves, and did all these: used her phone, placed her phone on her pocket, cleaned the counter, threw away the paper towel in the trash can that she used to clean, touched the counter while waiting for the cook to refill the sample plate, got the sample plate. She did not changed her gloves at all, I guess she was protecting her hands from getting dirty not the food. Really disappointing, hope management does something about this.

The amount of food you get depends on how much they feel like cooking. A double meat order at the end of the day is equivalent to a regular order any other time. You pay extra, get get the same.

i got the shrimp tempura and added cream cheese to it. the first time the cream cheese was missing but they gladly replaced it with no issues. it was very delicious and tasted of quality. i also got the dumplings, which were cooked well. you also get a fair price on both items. i would definitely eat here again
