We went to Seven Lamps midday on a Saturday. Less than 5 guests in the restaurant. That amplified the sound. However, no one was obnoxious. Kurts was our server. He was attentive, helpful, and quick. Our meals we really good. I ordered the burger well-done. My friend had the chicken pannini without chicken. We also started with Brussel sprouts for an app. All of the food was good. My one complaint is that the bun on the burger was extremely soggy. We also ordered cocktails, and those were good, as well. Overall, the experience was great, and we would visit again.
What a gem! My only regret is that I missed the Thursday "happy hour" (from 4:00-6:00) when you can get oysters and a bottle of wine for $25! I resigned myself to having two glasses of bubbly Prosecco with wonderful long island oysters and the most delicious spicy hush puppies I have ever tasted. The oysters were very fresh and came with a fresh sliced lemons to squeeze, traditional cocktail sauce and a lovely vinegar sauce variety of sauces that enhanced their brightness. The service was great, and I enjoyed reading my book and celebrating a Friday evening after a long work week. It may become my new reward to myself! Yes, I spent more than $25, but it was heavenly!
Loved the 2 shareables we ordered. Grilled chicken was very good. Redfish special was okay. Perfect evening to sit outside on the patio!
They tried very hard to accommodate us as we had a vegetarian but there were no vegetarian options in the entrees. We had checked the menu online and saw vegetarian option but current menu did not have anything. Appreciated the effort and our server was great.
We had a table on the outside patio, which was quiet and very nice. The servers were attentive and helpful. The food was amazing. We were there for a special date night and they definitely exceeded expectations. Turned out to be a great night for us.
The timing of drinks vs food was horrible. We waited so long for drinks. Our waiter didn't know the fish special of the day either.
We had a great meal. We didn't like the short rib entree but our servers were very understanding and allowed us to get something else. We love Seven Lamps and will be back.
Always one of my go to's for great flavorful food and a wonderful ambience. Free parking is nice too!
Place had a nice outside patio but the weather did not allow us to take advantage of that.
I really enjoyed it and so did my young adult children. The husband didn't love it. I think it was as the atmosphere. I think it's a hidden gem with great cocktails and food.

I absolutely loved the food here. The mahi mahi ceviche was divine, as was the tuna crispy rice appetizer, the Brussel sprouts and a nice big serving and very delicious! Every cocktail we got here was amazing!
Wonderful lunch. Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere and location. I will go back. Love parking and convenience of Shops around Lenox. Mahi Tacos were superb. Brussel sprout sides were outstanding. And we had a crunchy rice with fresh tuna appetizer topped with a sliver of pepper that was divine
I've been to Seven Lamps 3 times. This was the first time I had been seated inside for dinner. The patio area is lovely but it was raining so we were seated indoors. Inside the restaurant is LOUD. My 21-year old daughter even commented on how loud it was and hard to hear each other. The food was well-prepared and everything tasted good, as usual. We had the roasted Brussel sprouts, which were delicious. We also had the burger and the roasted golden beet salad. I'll definitely go back because the food is solid and the menu changes seasonally, which I really like. Our server was friendly but seemed new or not on his game. He wasn't sure about things on the menu and kept disappearing for long periods of time. Overall, our meal was good and I'd go back if I'm in the neighborhood again at dinner time. Preferably on a lovely fall or spring evening when the patio is open.
We returned to Seven Lamps for dinner after being pleasantly surprised by a fantastic lunch we experienced when we discovered this hidden gem, dropping in after shopping a few months ago. Dinner was just as wonderful! We sat outside in their lovely courtyard as the weather was nice. Our server was extremely helpful, pointing us to great dishes, and the waitstaff was very attentive. The brussel sprouts are among the best we've had anywhere and the tuna on rice and wings appetizers were also great. The lamb shank entree on purple potatoes was particularly delicious, fall-off-the bone soft and very flavorful. Seven Lamps is a wonderful choice, particularly for a date night or lunch with friends. We will definitely be back!
How did I not know about this place? We all loved our meals. Great fish tacos (fresh and flavorful) and my cousin said the shrimp and grits were as good as anything he has had outside of his favorite place in Charleston. The service was great! Highly recommend 7 Lamps and will definitely be going back for their brunch menu.
