I recently had the opportunity to be at SkyLounge while covering an event as a photographer, and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, the service is excellent, and the location offers a unique view that makes it a great spot for any occasion.

As someone who experiences many venues through my work with Diego’s Photography, I can honestly say this space stands out. It’s not only beautiful for events, but also creates the perfect setting to enjoy time with friends or colleagues.

I truly enjoyed my time here and would recommend SkyLounge to anyone looking for a place that combines great service, style, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

SkyLounge is such a gem in Atlanta! The rooftop views are absolutely stunning—perfect for watching the sunset or enjoying the city lights at night. The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, the cocktails are creative and well-made, and the service is always friendly and attentive. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, special occasion, or just a fun evening with friends. Highly recommend if you’re looking for one of the best rooftop experiences in the city!

The coolest bar with the best staff and DJ in Atlanta.

It was my first time in Atlanta and I wanted to visit the Skylounge with its amazing view.

DJ SeB was also there on Friday, and it was amazing!!!

I didn't understand why the lounge wasn't full. I can definitely recommend the Skylounge with a clear conscience.

Thank you so much!

DO NOT HOST YOUR EVENTS/PARTIES HERE!

I paid over $12k for a 4 hour event, with a bar and multiple course dinner menu for my 25th birthday . The event had around 20-30 people, but was planned for close to 50. I spent months planning and coordinating with the manager for the event. After multiple hiccups and going back and forth about pricing that changed several times, the event was had. The event started off rocky. There was sports events that day, traffic was packed and parking at the hotel is limited but also $40 so make sure guests are aware of that. For an event so pricey, you’d think they would offer a parking discount or even a special location for the event holders guests to have a place to park.

Here’s where they started to lose me….. I realized the wait staff, security gaurds and servers had decided that my party was a free for all for them as well…. The servers began dancing and mingling with my guets. One of them even slapped my friend on her butt while she was dancing she laughed it off but it caught her off guard…. I’m not sure if they were partaking in the free bar i had paid for but their behavior was completely uncalled for. I didn’t make a big deal at the time because I was being pulled in many different directions as the birthday girl and was trying to focus on having a good time . The servers were dancing on the dance floor and interjecting themselves into my conversations I was having with different friends while the security guard completely left his post at the front entrance to go on the balcony to flirt with my friends for about 30-45 minutes. I didn’t mind the chatting because everyone was having a good time but I paid for my party to have a certain look and feel. But none the less I was enjoying the bought out bar I paid for so, bossing around the wait staff was not a top priority at the time.

However, what they did rubbed me me wrong and I’ll never visit there again or recommend it for private events. About 45 minutes prior to the party event ending the staff began packing up my dinner and desserts. I had red velvet cake and banana pudding if I’m remembering correctly and other treats arranged. My guests were dancing and having a good time so I took the liberty of cutting everyone a slice since the party was about to end soon and I wanted to make sure everyone tried the dessert before they left or could at the least take it with them on the little napkins , I placed it on napkin and leaving it by their bags…. Not even ten minutes after the wait staff begin picking up all the cakes and packing up the food…. This was around 9:30-9:45. My party ended at 10. After spending $10k on food you’d think you would be able to at least have your food wrapped up and packaged for you to take home or sent home with aluminum to go containers. Like the amount of food that was leftover that I WAS NOT able to take home was absurd to me looking back. This event was extremely expensive, I didn’t host it to allow the staff to go home with my leftovers, desserts and partying with my guests. I had an amazing night at my party not because of the staff or venue but because it was my family that made it fun, but the entire night deep down really bothered me. And over a year later I am finally sitting down to the right the review because it was absolutely absurd of me to pay those prices and genuinely believe I’d get quality service, but this is Atlanta…

I intended on writing this review earlier and actually planned to make it much longer and detailed luckily for them it’s been a year and some of my frustration and regret about hosting an event there has died down. Hopefully this helps to anyone considering hosting an event there.

Disappointing visit to a Once-Great Spot
I remember when the Sky Lounge was the place to be—elegant, energetic, and full of the right vibe. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the experience we had. Whether it was just an off night or things have truly changed, I couldn’t help but notice how far the atmosphere and clientele have slipped. The energy that once defined this place felt completely absent. It’s disappointing to see a once-popular gem lose its spark.

The food from the lounge and bar downstairs however was very tasty.
