This place is amazing. When you walk in there are photos on the wall showcasing various veterans. It was very nice to see appreciation of American heros. They offer a military discount as well. The staff was awesome, and the blonde guy there even told me a few stories behind some of the photos. The food was amazing, the best barbecue I’ve had outside of Tennessee. We went about an hour before they closed and the staff was nice enough to hook me up with cheddar biscuits that were leftover.

Only recently discovered this place. What a great alternative to a traditional meat and two! The vegetables were really good. Black eye peas seemed fresh, great old style Brunswick stew, fried okra, green beans (wide like pole beans!) were great and good lima beans. Next time I'll get the chopped pork unsalted. Friendly staff! If you're in the area it's a must try!

Food has always been good over the many years I have eaten at Slopes, but the last couple years since it has become McDaniel’s QN2 it has only gotten better!Our congenial host, Glenn, addresses many of his dedicated customers by name and is always very welcoming to all.The food is always perfectly prepared and McDaniel’s QN2 is a definite Neighborhood Gem in Sandy Springs.
Daniels was better than a lot of other barbecue that's available in the metro. The ribs although they did not look pretty they were absolutely awesome. The ribs had very little fat and a lot of meat especially compared to others in the marketplace. The chicken was extremely tender and moist and cooked perfectly, we will definitely try other items in the future

Found this place on a drive by after leaving my appointment. Pulled into the parking lot and saw you could order online... this was a winner - I dislike going inside & standing at the counter reading the menu. The front counter staff was very nice. I believe the inside took me by surprise. I assumed it was upscale but provided a very nice, quiet and casual atmosphere. Daily specials are posted on the counter. They make homestyle pork rinds for sale. I ordered online which took about a entire 15 mins from decision making and order pickup. Fast turnaround. Taste. The food was good. I have had BBQ that was more tasteful when it comes to seasoning. The bbq sauce was watery and not a fave of mine. The fried okra and sweet potato fries were very fresh. I would surely recommend if in this area and you want to grab a quick bite to eat. It did not take long for my order to be ready.
