We came here on Christmas Eve for what we hoped would be a nice brunch. We received the opposite.

First, the waiter was extremely slow and took 15 minutes to greet us and never brought us water.

We ordered two coffees which were perhaps the worst coffee I’ve ever had. The espresso was burnt and over extracted. Making the coffee extremely bitter and sour. Almost like you’re drinking a tablespoon of salt (not great when you don’t have water). My partner ordered a mocha and it tasted like drinking straight from a bottle of chocolate syrup (disgusting). The bartender was in charge of making the coffee (I did feel bad because she looked overworked) but clearly was not trained on how to properly steam milk. The milk was not frothed properly or poured properly— something that may have made the over extracted espresso at least palatable.

We did not drink them and sent them back. (Our own server looked down at the cups and said “Oh no that looks… gross”).

I ordered the Chilaquiles which were not great. The tortilla chips were stale and the verde sauce was odd with a bad aftertaste. I added Chorizo to it and the Chorizo lacked any flavor. The black beans were mushy and salty. That said, the eggs were cooked well. I would stay away from the Chilaquiles and order plain eggs.

My partner ordered Pancakes that she described as better than average (hence the two stars). But said she also would rather not return.

The server checked in on us once and brought one of us water when we both asked (I guess we were supposed to share?) we had to ask two more times for another water.

The atmosphere was fine. It seemed busy but we did wait a long time for food and another 15 minutes after our waiter took our plates for the check. The bartender was clearly in a bad mood and was visibly rude and curt to our waiter (and others) which added to make the experience that much more unpleasant.

Personally, I’d stay away from any diner that can’t manage to make a cup of coffee. I would not recommend Snooze to anyone.

I normally go to the Monroe location which is equally as good!! For the first time I tried their OMG French toast! 10/10! I don’t even like coconut but the way they hooked this dish up deserves reconsideration. The service is always equally as great! Ask for Natalie! She was very knowledgeable and sweet. The sound deluxe was delicious. We added onions and peppers. Along with the habanero pork belly on the side. Everything was amazing!

I had a terrible experience here. My husband and I came in and waited at the host stand for at least 10 minutes, no problem but we ended up seating ourselves and reviewing the menu. The waitress FINALLY comes out and says “can I get y’all started since y’all seated yall selves” implying that we were wrong for not standing at the host stand forever in a restaurant that would have appeared abandoned if it wasn’t for the two unattended patrons at the bar. She continued to be very rude and we left. We live next door and are honestly disappointed at the service we received in our own neighborhood. I was excited to try this place too.

The service is great and fairly speedy even when busy. The food options are WILD in a great way! I got the sweet potato veggie smash up and was blown away by the flavor and how filling it is!! I went back a week later for the same dish. The vibes are retro and fun. I'd definitely recommend this for an upscale diner vibe with lots of options beyond simple pancakes and eggs.

Whoever is over the online/to go orders today, please pay better attention…not sure if you all assume online/uber orders are going directly to people’s houses or what, but- I ordered a coffee, 3 pancakes and a hash brown- all through Uber eats(Uber eats guy was great! No complaints there). My coffee did not a have proper seal on it, not sure why? Coffee spilled and it just makes me uneasy to know that it was just “open” like that.

Pancakes- the receipt says I ordered syrup with it, you can imagine my surprise when I didn’t see it in there. This resulted in dry pancakes and skeptical coffee. The food is ok. Really, just pay attention.

We love this place! We always get the hash brown dish. Beware of the parking deck though. We paid before we went in and didn’t get our ticket valeted (that was our first time there so we didn’t know) and whoever owns the parking deck still sent us a parking ticket saying we didn’t pay. (Jerk) 🙄

Update: tried this hot sauce for the first time last week and it was really good!

My favorite breakfast spot. This location's food and service are always consistent. They have an alcohol bar in the daytime cafe. They also extended their closing hours from 2pm to 4pm. The menu always includes seasonal changes, which are usually tasty. I usually order the snooze classic, and make sure to get the grits. The crabcake Benedict is also worth trying.

Parking: Parking garage right behind building with two entrances from each side.

I love this place!!! We are regulars at this point. 🙂 Never had a bad experience. I almost don't want to give them rave reviews because I don't want too many people there! Honestly, I can't say anything bad. Customer service is top notch, and the food is fresh. My husband and I say, "Somebody's uncle back there, cooking it up in the kitchen," for real!

My first here on this past here Sunday, at this Howell Mill location. The host, dressed up as "Bacon" was so pleasant, then we ended up with the BEST waitress, DEVON❤️! She was so GOOD, she gave us, extra CARE, ATTENTION, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Plus she made sure, our food came out as we wanted and requested. Devon, made that first visit, worth coming back,👏🏾❤️👏🏾, and asking for her!!!

Parking: As long as its under 2 hours!

The food was very yummy! I hardly ever will pay money for an avocado toast but this one came with an egg and some hash browns. The onion Jam on it was nice. I got the 10$ weekday special, unfortunately they couldn’t sub out the bacon on the other special other wise I would have gotten that. Overall ambiance and atmosphere was great. They also have some outdoor seating and cornhole and slide 5 (or connect 4) outside.

Parking: Free parking with validation, there are big signs with instructions.
