Hands-down face down. This is the way I wanna go out! They cook with love they cook, honoring their family in heritage. It’s an undoubtably regrettable meal every time we go. (which is every week)☺️

Food’s alright. Not worth the bad service. Server forgot to bring out half of our order. When we finally got ahold of her to ask about it, she brought it out of the kitchen cold. It had just been sitting in there, I guess.Once our dishes had been cleared, we sat there for twenty minutes waiting for her to drop off the check. When we looked over at the end of the bar, we realized why she hadn’t. She was sitting on her phone and drinking a cocktail. If her shift had ended, that would have been fine, but no one ever came over and introduced themselves as our new server.Really a shame because I was excited to try this place based on the other reviews, but I’d say pass on this one.

I don't often get a chance to try Laotian food so this was a welcome deviation from the norm for me. Excellent food.

I don’t think I’ve had anything here that’s less than great. Everything I’ve tried, or even had multiple times (yes I’m guilty of So So Fed cravings on Sunday or Monday nights!!) has be absolutely fantastic- flavorful, and authentic!!Highly recommend it. Occasional wait times might be frustrating, but people, we all need a little patience to just sit and relax - especially when each meal is prepared and cooked to order (potentially right in front of you!). A lot of their meals are perfect to share making it really reasonable and affordable!Truthfully, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is chic yet relaxed, and service is friendly.

Takeout experience not good but this may be customer ignorance. We picked up dinner for 3 and after ordering we’re told 35-40 mins because the kitchen was slammed. Ok we can chill with plenty of time to pick up from dog daycare. One of us had just come from airport and it had been an emotional trip. So all that on us.It took almost an hour during which we were given cold water (nice!) but the wait was stressful (“it’s just a couple minutes” but it’s not). To speed things up we paid and the 20Percent gratuity made our meal ($82) come to $107. Maybe the hype is worth it so finally we get the food or so we thought and headed home. The bag seemed pretty light for $107 but it’s a popup so still ok then get home and the rice is missing and the portions are flavorful but small and now two of us are eating ramen and frozen waffles.Pix to show what $107 of food here looks like. Should I have asked to set my own gratuity? The bill came with 20Pct and a line for adding *more*.I want to support Atlanta pop ups but this value is not there at all.

My wife and I were taken to So So Fed by a local friend whose brother recommended it.The booth nearest the front door leaked water from the AC unit above it, and got on our food and all over us throughout the meal. At first it didn't affect us that much, but when the food came it got worse causing an issue. The waiter was hard to get a hold of for basic requests, and looked at us when we asked for a knife like we were from another planet for the chicken. He returned with a butter knife. We ordered the squid (tough and stringy), the fried chicken (decent), and the steak (grisly and chewy on one entire side). Avoid the Elephant Reviver cocktail and the margarita. As we began to slow our eating (which was relatively quickly) another waiter came up to our table 3 times within the course of about 20 minutes attempting to bus the table which was unprofessional and annoying. For the above dishes, an appetizer of chicken hearts, 1 PBR, 1 Elephant Reviver, and 1 margarita, the bill was about $159 before tip.Save your money.

Some of the best food going right now. Staff are all lovely, food is consistently great, and the drink/bar game is on point. You could argue that their NY Strip is as good as any steak in ATL; the Mekong Sour is as good as any cocktail in Atlanta.

So So Fed has one of the best authentic Asian menus ITP, and they have some really awesome merch too.Every time I come, I HAVE to have the spicy papaya salad. As a Vietnamese person, the Laotian version of the salad is exact to similar when it comes to the flavor and spice levels of this dish. I cry every time I have one, and I almost always order a second serving for max pain - read, joy.In addition, So So Fed's chefs are experts in cooking meats to perfection. The beef and chicken that normally goes into their dish is always cooked enough but not too much. This leaves room for the meat to continue cooking and bathing in the juices of the dishes they're incorporated into. I always admire how juicy and tender the meats come out in every dish I've tried.I've yet to have one bad experience in terms of cuisine here. I've had the mapo tofu dumplings which are so juicy and well fried. The red curry chicken mixed with the eggplant and bamboo gives a strong and delicious flavor full of umami.Today, on July 4, they had a special lunch menu for the first time. I ordered the meatball banh mi and the beef pho. The pho is the first time I've had pho ITP that's actually made well. The closest one to good pho here is Dai Loi in Forest Park, and I'd dare say today's pho is levels above Dai Loi given how tender the brisket and other meats were cooked. This place genuinely makes me happy every time I come.

You have to visit and try their rotating menu! You can taste the care in each bite \\u0026 the staff is super friendly! The lemongrass chicken heart skewers converted me to organ meat. They were juicy and tender, and the sauce was spicy and bright. The papaya salad was amazingly fresh, the caramel noodles were delicious and sticky, the meatballs were super tender and flavorful, and the watermelon with coconut custard and cinnamon basil was such a delight. I'd never had Laos food before \\u0026 we're definitely coming back to try more!

Holy cow - this place is special. I'd never had Laotian food before, and after trying So So Fed I'm blown away that it took this long. The food is simply spectacular. I'm not usually a fan of chicken heart, but these were so tender, juicy, and delicious that it destroyed my previous idea of what chicken hearts could be. The meatballs are mesmerizing. The stir fried noodles were incredible. Everything we ordered was just phenomenal. They're only open two days out of the week since it's a pop-up, but you must try this place. This restaurant is on another level, full stop.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options when I went, but the menu is always changing so nothing guaranteedWheelchair accessibility: Is accessible
