I have been a customer of Soul Vegetarian restaurant since it's inception. It's the one place I feel comfortable eating and knowing everything that I consume for my meal is wholesome, delicious and healthy. On my last visit, I went in with a headache and I drank a couple of cups of room temperature water with enzymes before enjoying a nutritious meal. Before I departed, my headache was gone. I felt so much better.

In house ginger drink is of the best I've had. Sharp and smooth! Kalebone sauce was rich and tasty. I will certainly be back with guests. š

Iāve been going to the Soul Veg Restaurants since I was a kid, and the quality has never changed. Impeccable food, wonderful service, and a great family atmosphere are all things you can expect here. Come visit if you want the best vegan soul food in the city.

The food is as close to southern soul food a vegan is going to get. The county fried steak, kalebone, and Mac & Cheese were our favorites. We will definitely come back when we return to Atlanta. The value for the money was amazing and the service was great!!!

Great restaurant to dine, very respectful staff.
Really enjoyed the variety and fair prices. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Great experience.
I got the Kalebone sticks w /bbq sauce, sweet potatoes and an assortment of vegan cupcakes.
Benny was my server and he was very attentive and kind.
Thanks Benny!
The BBQ cauliflower was unbelievably delicious.
The food and staff are great. I hate that they donāt get on the delivery platforms like Doordash or Grubhub often. The prices are great! I would order more if I could order online.

I was a little worried when. We were the only diners there, but it was only 5. Service was great and food was delicious, only complaint was that they were out of sweet potato pie.
This was my first time here. I didnāt like that the menu had one prices and when you order it was another price. Please update the menu prices ASAP. Or train your front register person to let ppl know the menu has not been updated. And provide those prices when be very helpful.
Absolutely delicious and the staff is beyond friendly
The BBQ kalebone - made from wheat gluten, like seitan - was tasty and hearty, though the texture was good (a little rubbery) but not great. The collard greens, sweet potatoes, and cornbread were good, too. Very generous portions and friendly, attentive service. And the menu says everything is vegan, yay, despite the āvegetarianā in the restaurantās name. Wish the water werenāt served in styrofoam cups. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-19
I was horrified when the dense brick they called ācornbreadā came out, and I knew it was going to be all downhill after that. The cornbread seemed to be made with nothing other than cornmeal and water. The macaroni and cheese had over cooked noodles, with a sauce that was confusingly sweet. The collard greens were cooked decently but flavorless. The kalebone sauce was the only redeeming part of this meal, but was served cold on top of the kalebone (which Iām assuming was just a piece of boiled seitan. It was very chewy.) The cold sauce made me think that the entire meal was just reheated from premade items. I grew up in the south and have had vegan versions of all of these dishes before. I donāt know how this restaurant missed the mark so badly on such soul food staples.
