I decided to check this restaurant out for the first time because the food look really good on their site and it has some good reviews. First, I would like to say customer service was excellent. The young lady that took my order was very professional and patient. The turkey wings with rice and cornbread were delicious! I didn’t like the dressing, mac & cheese, greens or peach cobbler. The greens weren’t season at all and I thought turkey was supposed to be in my greens, but I didn’t see any turkey. The mac & cheese didn’t taste like mac & cheese. I’ll just say the stuffing was different. Peach cobbler was very bland and $9 for that very small amount was insane to me on top of the 10% gratuity and it was only me purchasing for myself. I’m all about supporting my people, but this right here was a bit much for me. We have to do better. Peace and Blessings

I must admit, at first when pulling up to the restaurant it seemed a little sketchy. But once inside Cashier Ashley was very nice and helpful. I ordered the smoked deep fried turkey wings w/Mac cheese, fried chicken wings, collard greens and cornbread dressing as well as peach cobbler. Everything tasted great. The turkey wings were smoked and deep fried to perfection, the dressing seemed to have had some type of smoked flavor (which was delicious) and the peach cobbler was really good. My only issue was the portion size. I would have liked a little more of the sides (for the price I paid). But overall I would definitely come back. Good job Soulbox.

I had an ankle injury and decided to order Ubereats. I ordered the turkey wings, collards and dressing. I spent too much money but due to my injury I was willing to pay the price. This food was awful! Please do not waste your money.

Can’t say anything about the atmosphere because I got a four vegetable plate delivered absolutely some of the best dressing, sautéed zucchini, collards, and black-eyed peas I’ve ever had!
Vegetarian options: All I got was vegetables and dressing clearly marked no pork!

We ordered: smothered wings with collard greens (but I received yams), and Mac n cheese w/corn bread and salmon with yellow rice, Mac n cheese, and yams. The only thing good was the Mac n cheese!!! The chicken has potential but the gravy is what threw it off! That gravy was also nasty on my crunchy yellow rice. Also, the cornbread is missing something….maybe sugar? Idk. The yellow rice was crunchy in both trays. The food wasn’t good at all.
