The Mac and cheese was ridiculously good and I’m so happy that most of their sides are vegetarian friendly!

As a restaurant owner myself I truly love the vibe Soulbox creates, their food is flavorful and worth the price. Can’t wait to go back

I ordered via uber. I’m a lil disappointed. The food wasn’t that good. Maybe I caught them on an off day. The yams had too much lemon extract and maybe allspice? The dressing had too much sage or herb seasoning… I’d like to try again but in the restaurant maybe?

I had the pork chops and mac n cheese with cornbread, I give each dish a 5/10 the mac n cheese taste isn't bad just not enough cheese sauce and serving a small amount for the price of each dish is crazy work.
I also got the smothered turkey wings with saffron rice and I got mac n cheese and cornbread and I give that a 5/10 my turkey was dry and I didn't like the mac n cheese or cornbread, the cornbread needs more butter so I dont have to taste the cornmeal. Then I ordered honey butter and they could have kept that due to little portion. Im starting to think that georgia isn't made for soulfood.

Sassy sassy sassy. Clearly doesn’t care about professionalism & honestly food isn’t that great. And yes you should definitely take it up with God in your prayers.

Soul box is THE number 1 soul food spot in ATL. The food is always so fresh and seasoned to perfection. My favorite item is their greens and turkey ribs. Also the staff has top tier customer service. They are always so pleasant and ready to serve. Overall all 10/10. They never miss.

The area is a somewhat dangerous place and the food isn’t that great. The green were salty, cornbread hard and flavorless like a brick the lemonade is very sweet. And the turkey ribs were on the stiff side. But costumer service is ok!!.

I agree with some of the other patrons regarding the vegetables. We should have an option to get seasoned foods or not. The cornbread needed some love. The presentation over shadow the taste of the vegetables. I know there is a God. Please Father help the hands that cooks those vegetables add some smoked turkey to all the vegetables. Don't cook the cornbread, just let up remember our grannies.

This place is my go to place when I want some good soul food. First of all the staff are so welcoming and loving it just makes you want to eat there. Not only that but the food is so good and well seasoned. I love the authentic look when you go inside and it makes me feel like I’m back home in South Georgia. I got the fried turkey ribs, with honey hot sauce and they never disappoint. 10/10. Got that with Mac n cheese and cabbage. Also got the peach cobbler for the first time and I only eat my grandmother’s peach cobbler but this cobbler was real good (crust was perfect), and I’d come back and get more and get it catered. Last but not least the Strawberry Pineapple lemonade was 10/10 as well. Makes you mouth water after drinking it. Wish I could have a jug of it so I can sit it in my fridge for days to come.
