This is a neighborhood food hub. The food is good. The chicken was good, smoked turkey though dried was good but the macaroni and cheese was very cheesy š§. There is no parking, but it's ideal for grab-and-go. Food is a bit overpriced considering the obvious! Overall, the staff were friendly and nice. I can't say I will be going back anytime soon.

I had an all aground great experience. I did not catch her name but the lady who helped me and my father was very helpful and gave great energy. As someone who had never been to this establishment and was visiting from out of town, I can say that I will be returning on my next trip to Atlanta. I ordered the chicken and rice with a side of candy yams, collard greens, cornbread and the dressing . I also ordered the strawberry lemonade that is also made in house and was delicious and packed with flavor (perfect for a warm day). The atmosphere was great , there was music and cooling air and the workers made conversation and expressed ahead of time if something wasnāt available. I recommend coming here and trying for yourself, you wonāt regret it!!

I was excited to try this restaurant after seeing their post on social media and wanted to show my support. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including pork chops, chicken, seafood, and an assortment of vegetables.
I decided to order the fried chicken dinner with a side, which came to $34. While the price felt a bit steep, Iām always willing to pay more for good food. I also noticed there was a service charge added, and the total cost varied depending on the payment method, which I hadnāt expected.
The food arrived fairly quickly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the quality didnāt meet my expectations. The mac and cheese wasnāt the traditional style Iām used to, and the yams were extremely dark and oddly chewy. On a positive note, the chicken batter was well-seasoned, and the greens were..decent. I tried to eat what I could since the meal was expensive, but after just two bites of the yams, I knew I couldnāt continue.
After debating whether to call I called the restaurant afterward to share my feedback, hoping for some kind of understanding or resolution. However, the person I spoke with didnāt seem very open to hearing my concerns. She mentioned a sign in the restaurant (which I didnāt see) stating āthat their food may not match everyoneās flavor profile.ā She ended the conversation by essentially saying it was my fault for not liking the food and for that reason nothing could be done.
Overall, I was truly disappointed by both the meal and the response I received. I wanted to support a business I was excited about, but unfortunately, the experience didnāt live up to the promise!

Myself my husband my sister came from Charlotte to visit did tours and wanted somewhere good to eat we found this place and wow did we pick a good place we had baked chicken pork chops turkey wings Mac n cheese dressing greens rice everything was cooked to order hot and delicious

I love this place, located on the Westside of ATL, I come here everytime im in atl. They are the nicest people you'll meet on that side. My best friend wanted the salmon but they were out so we picked something else, when we came back the chef had made the salmon no extra charge! The food is always on point and they have a forever customer right here! Oh PS I live in New Mexico and this is where I go after my 23 hour drive lol

Food was pretty good pretty high price was charged $1.75 for a contactless hug fee and a dollar up charge if I wanted fried shrimp, but the collard greens were pretty nice

I decided to check this restaurant out for the first time because the food look really good on their site and it has some good reviews. First, I would like to say customer service was excellent. The young lady that took my order was very professional and patient. The turkey wings with rice and cornbread were delicious! I didnāt like the dressing, mac & cheese, greens or peach cobbler. The greens werenāt season at all and I thought turkey was supposed to be in my greens, but I didnāt see any turkey. The mac & cheese didnāt taste like mac & cheese. Iāll just say the stuffing was different. Peach cobbler was very bland and $9 for that very small amount was insane to me on top of the 10% gratuity and it was only me purchasing for myself. Iām all about supporting my people, but this right here was a bit much for me. We have to do better. Peace and Blessings

I must admit, at first when pulling up to the restaurant it seemed a little sketchy. But once inside Cashier Ashley was very nice and helpful. I ordered the smoked deep fried turkey wings w/Mac cheese, fried chicken wings, collard greens and cornbread dressing as well as peach cobbler. Everything tasted great. The turkey wings were smoked and deep fried to perfection, the dressing seemed to have had some type of smoked flavor (which was delicious) and the peach cobbler was really good. My only issue was the portion size. I would have liked a little more of the sides (for the price I paid). But overall I would definitely come back. Good job Soulbox.
